He's Michael Cole without the mustache. He has no knowledge of wrestling or the business and his mere presence is like having a pimple you can't pop. He must be related to someone who works with the company and given a job as a favor.

My main complaint about Todd is his facial expression, which gives off the impression that he doesn't really want to be there.
He looks bored 98% of the time. The other 2% is when he appears to be talking, but nothing smart comes out.
At least Michael Cole is trying.
BTW, why did they let Josh Matthews go? I thought he had promise.

We really don't need a new crop of dorky announcers for the "cool" faces to make fun of during interviews. It was funny when the Rock first did it; now, not so much.
Incidentally, isn't Kevin Dunn the guy who's always pushed for the pretty boy announcers?

I do believe the scientific reason for Todd Grisham sucking is because he, in fact, is Todd Grisham. Studies have shown that being a member of the Todd Grisham species (yes, there's only one, but no species would claim him, with the seahorses casting the final no vote) leads to an inherent trait of suckage.
