friends don't let friends buy NBA Live. Please get NBA 2k8 or i'll murder your pets. Although the graphics are very well done this year, Live is VASTLY inferior in every other aspect of the game.

I'm quite enjoying Season mode, I just put the training bits on Simulate in the options, seems to be working quite well.

Although i doubt I'll be follwing Roddy Piper's training advice for First Blood matches anytime soon

Liking the create an entrance mode, especially the new timing bar for doing the multiple camera angle changes and synching them with the fireworks, useful and about time we had that.

Forgot to mention that for some reason my CAW does not have his pyro, movie or entrance attire in 24/7 mode. He has his attire for cutscenes (sleeveless hoody - wonder where they got THAT from ?), just not the entrance.

Alright this has been bugging me for a little while now.

me, a wii owner bought the wii version of svr 08 yesterday and started cursing all of you lucky bastards who got the non-wii version. it is a piece of crap, this version needs to be inducted in wrestlecrp. i knew it would have been water downed, but not pissed down! forget the lack of moves, lack of match types or even the main event mode, the one bit i was looking forward to, fire tables, is not even in it. the only weapons you get are 2 chairs. 2 CHAIRS! i hate thq for this, i really do, looks like i have hunt down dor 1 and 2. the only thing that is keeping me happy right now is the thought of smash bros, and the fact that you guys cant have it.

I guess it's a good thing I decided not to get it for the Wii then, once I saw the review I knew it probably wasn't a good idea.

Considering the only thing I have otherwise is a PS2, then unless I decide to get it for the PSP (which likely won't happen) I'll have to wait on this one.

I can't speak for everyone, but I certainly can have Smash Bros. once it comes out... seeing as I have both 360 and Wii.

As for Wii SVR, I pretty much lost even the slightest interest I had in it when I read the IGN review. Matches that last one minute? Even more arcade-style gameplay than in the other versions? Lack of moves, weapons and features and just about everything? No thanks.

People liek to say they won't do stuff but then go out and do it, so they can have the game to complain about it. I'm not buying it, my brother will be though, so I'm sure I'll end up doing a season mode once or something, though with some lame character since so many people were removed from Season Mode.

Been debating over this for awhile.
(And my hamster can break your arm in three places.)
Live 2007 pissed me off so bad, I swore it off. 2K8 might just be my purchase.

What if someone I knew bought it and when they got home, I switched out their copy for Roller Coaster Tycoon?
I could play the game WITHOUT buying it and they'd be waiting for wrestlers to appear while building a theme park.

If It doesn't infuriate the gods too much, I'll probably test it out via rental. My local Blockbuster has the special of 2 for 10 bucks. Since the rental for 1 is usually 7 bucks, I can pick it up for cheap. I'll get something better for the first.............like Superman Returns.

Oh my god... They got rid of the DoR engine, for THAT?! Lucky you can find DoR 1 & 2 at gamestop for less than $15. Hell, you might even want to consider buying Wrestlemania XIX. I know the story mode sucks(to everyone else but me), but the gameplay engine's basically the same and you get way more weapons too. Even more than DoR 1 & 2.

For those that have it, can your CAW come to the ring with the belt on during custom entrances, even if you don't use the WWE superstar portions? Last year that was one of my biggest pet peeves.

I was out christmas shopping today (yes, that early) and I went to Blockbuster and they had two copies there to rent. However, everywhere else I went to did not have a copy in sight.

Looks like Blockbuster is above street dates? However, many of you already have it so I assume that people can just put out games whenever they want.

I also was wondering if you're able to select where you want the belt to be positioned on your CAW (ie..over the shoulder). Probably not..I'm assuming.
