SMACKDOWN SPOILERS
Jeff Hardy vs. Fit Finlay. Ended in a DQ. Victoria & Beth Phoenix d. Mickie James and Torrie Wilson Undertaker promo. VIP lounge. Hardy wants shot at US title. MVP says they have a tag match and out come Miz and Morrison. The Miz and John Morrison d. Hardy & MVP to become NEW tag team champions. MVP invokes the rematch claus. The Miz and John Morrison d. Hardy & MVP to retain the belts. MVP beats down Hardy, working over his knee. Rey Mysterio d. Ken Kennedy. Botchfest. Batista d. Mark Henry. Complete squash. Batista savagely attacks Henry after the match to the delight of the live crowd. Lights go out. Undertaker on tron. Rolls his eyes back. Says nothing. Awkward ending.
Notes
ECW was taped first. Crowd was super-hot for the Hardys, but after the third time we had one of them come out, a lot of people had lost interest. The ending to Finlay / Jeff came off weird live. Very, very little reaction to Miz and Morrison winning the tag belts. Smurf the brand split, I guess.
Taker and Bats were evenly over, but the crowd sided with Taker when they were forced. Oh, and when MVP beats up an injured Matt - bad guy. Batista brutally attacks a helpless Mark Henry after the bell has rung - super face.
Kennedy and Mysterio put on a fun match but it was really taken down a notch because of all the missed spots. The ending looked incredibly stupid live. I'll be curious to see how they edit it on television. Crowd was still hot for Rey, regardless.
Fun show. Better than the last time they were in Wichita.

I remember when Miz and Johnny Nitro teamed in one of the battle royals the night after WrestleMania we all thought they would be the new MNM.

How must it have been for the live crowd to see this and then ECW? Weird, if true. EDIT: Nevermind.

Glad to hear that Kennedy is keeping up his trend of being Mr. Botch-A-Lot.

How must it have been for the live crowd to see this and then ECW? Weird, if true. but according to the report, ECW was taped first. I was always under the impression that ECW was live. Considering ECW got over just about an hour ago, either ECW wasn't live or these results are bs again.

I apologize. I forgot something.
Khali and Hornswoggle had a weigh-in, with an interview conducted by Michael Cole. There were plenty of "What"s to Khali. This was right before the main event.

I remember this happened last year that someone sent in SD Spoilers that reported Mark Henry beating Mysterio for the World Title.

Well, while we're all not believing me, I should also mention that the dark match was Nunzio vs. Kevin Thorn, who now sports short hair and wrestled in a singlet. I had no idea they changed his bit. It didn't look very good.
For a more in-depth card....
Finlay and Hardy had a fun match, but it didn’t get too much time. Ending was Finlay going for the shilleleigh. He didn’t hit Hardy, but the ref gave the DQ. As Finlay and the ref argue, Hardy grabs the stick-thing and kicks Finlay out of the ring.
Divas tag match came down to Beth killing Michelle McCool. I was wrong earlier – it wasn’t Torrie Wilson. I wasn’t really paying attention to this match. Beth hit her finisher and got a quick pin.
Undertaker came out, talked about the cell, said he’d won more than anyone, and then shuffled off to the back.
Hardys are backstage. Jeff is packing his bag and leaving. Matt asks where he is going and Jeff says he has “plans”. When Matt asks what kind, Jeff just says “Plans” and leaves.
The VIP lounge is next. MVP comes out and invites out Matt. They review the tag match on ECW and Matt berates MVP for pinning Jeff after Kennedy’s interference. MVP says it was his only option. Matt starts talking about the US title and MVP says they can’t fight because they are friends. Matt says MVP isn’t his friend and only wants to keep the focus on the tag titles so that they won’t fight for the US belt. He says he wants his title shot right now, but MVP says they have a title defense and calls out their opponents, John Morrison and the Miz.
The match gets going with MVP in the ring, but he feigns an injury and tags in Matt. Miz and Morrison beat down Matt and work on his knee. They do a chop-block that goes into a pin. 1, 2, 3. New tag champs. They celebrate and go to leave, but MVP stops them and demands their rematch. Miz and Morrison come back and MVP fights them until feigning another injury and tagging a tired, beaten Matt Hardy back in. Again, Hardy is quickly pinned and the new champs leave. MVP holds up Matt after the match and raises his arm, only to kick his legs out from under him and fiercely attack his knee. MVP leaves and Hardy is helped to the back.
Not sure about the order on these next two things….
Rey Mysterio and Kennedy. A quick, fun match, with a good number of missed spots. The ending comes with a hurricanrana from Rey, countering Kennedy’s ken-ton bomb. This would be all well and good if it had actually hit. Instead, Rey nearly falls on his head and Kennedy just has to jump off the turnbuckle and act hurt. Crowd didn’t care. Huge pop for Rey. Good match aside from the blown spots.
Hornswoggle and the Great Khali come out after being introduced by Michael Cole. They do a weigh-in. Hornswoggle weighs 138. The scale doesn’t work when Khali gets on, so they say he’s broken it. The two have a stare-down and Khali snatches Horny’s hat and smashes it. Good thing hats don’t hold grudges.
Batista and Mark Henry are next. No DQ, I think. Henry barely gets in any offense. Batista hits a spine-buster and then goes outside the ring. He brings the title inside and clocks Henry with it before going for the pin. Batista doesn’t celebrate, instead going after Henry with a chair. He hits him about a dozen times before finally celebrating with the crowd. Taker’s gong hits. His eyes come up on the tron and Batista looks concerned. Music comes back on. Life continues.
Sorry that nobody believes me. I didn't believe it either. The crowd was literallly silent for it.

Thank you for posting these!
I went last time Smackdown/ECW taped in the ICT the week before No Mercy '06.
Sounds like a good show.
I guess this means we'll see more Miz and Morrison on Smackdown.

Um these do sound real but really stupid. Why have Morrison and Miz Tag Champs? Makes no sense at all.

That's our "Big" Dave Batista. Going for the face pops by using an illegal weapon in a match, then destroying the evil, evil heel with a steel chair even after winning the match.
