As older members surely know, the forum goes through a tried and true cycle:
I suppose my first question is, do you agree with my representation of the life cycle of WWE Current? Second, where do you think we are if you agree? If you don't, or would like to contribute, what do you think the cycle looks like?
- First everyone is mellow, friendly, and open to debate and discussion. No one is too extreme and we're all level-headed.
- Then there is a surge of undue super-smarkiness. HHH should be fired. Kendrick not becoming US Champion within a year is a crime. So forth.
- Then there is a surge of undue super-anti-smarkiness. Hulk Hogan being greater than everything is found in every thread. Certain posters WANT anti-climactic payoffs just to laugh at others. So forth.
- Then we find a surge of super-anti-anti-smarkiness. The anti-smarks are bored and dormant, but once you try to give HHH a little credit for working a good match you'll be yelled at, told to stop being an anti-smark troll. So forth.
- This phase I can't really identify. Things are slow, people obsess over one or two topics, and most of us are hoping things get back on track soon.
- Lastly, we're recovered and back to square one.
