www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_pMKbpHTIw....WWE turning the Survivor Series into another generic pay per view. These were the days!!! Let's hope that's HHH's team doesn't participate in the farce that team DX did last year. Last year's 5 on 5 basically buried the traditional Survivor Series format.

Not really, you make it sound like that was the first time that ever happened. How did it bury the format exactly? The thing with SS is that anything could happen, 5 on 4, 5 on 3, etc. I know it happened in 91 and probably a few other shows as well.

But in the days where we are lucky to get one or two of these matches on the card (it was all traditional matches in '91 apart from Hogan-Taker), they should make an effort to make these matches stand out. I don't think putting an entire team over another one in 10-15 minutes tops is the way to make people interested in these type of matches. I'm all for the Survivor Series returning to the original format, although roster limitations these days might make it a slight problem

That video is gold. I've never seen that before. Gotta love Roddy Piper in that one. And poor Dusty Rhodes. If you haven't watched that or seen it, go check it out!

That was killer. Warrior especially, everyone was simple yet he just rants about nothing

they should have like 2 or 3 5 on 5 matches, and the elimination chamber should become a Survivor Series staple.

They should have made "Wrestler is thankful for" a staple of the survivor series. (did they do that for the 1990 show? I seem to remember they did but i may be wrong)

I loved when the Survivor Series was ACTUALLY a Thanksgiving tradition. My family actually bought into it.

I love the obvious last minute addition of Earthquake in Vince's intros.
Along with Hercules....AND THE EARTHQUAKE!
