I hope to goodness they release these two sets. Especially since they're going back and releasing the RR 5-packs.
Would you buy these?

Yes, they should release them both.
I imagine that we'll have at least one of them by the end of 2008.

I found an old PWinsider report from June of 06 that said they would be making Summerslam and Royal Rumble anthologies. Well, 1 of those is out now, so I would assume the Summerslam one is on its way soon(hopefully). Maybe they'll release them in the months of the PPV(August and November, respectively).
And for the record, This year was the 20th Summerslam, and tomorrow night will be the 21st Survivor Series. Maybe they'll do like what they did with the WM set, where you bought the 20-disk box-set and you get the 21st as a bonus.

I'd buy both, as for the Summerslam set there was a report that it would be pushed back becuase they didn't know what to do about the Benoit matches on there, so who knows.
But hopefully they'll be releasing both soon.

I'd buy both as long as they have Benoit matches on them.

Release them both, keep the Benoit matches on the disc. If he comes out and it bothers me I have a nice little "forward chapter" button on my remote. But I want it to be my option.

Much like the Wrestlemania (got it) and Rumble (getting it) 5-packs, I shall only get the 1st 5-pack of these two offerings. I miss my childhood.

I'd like to say I'll get 'em no matter what, but if Benoit isn't on them......I don't know. I suppose I would, but I'd really have to give pause and think about it. If he's not on, I'd just hope they release 'em in seperate sets and pick up the early ones for sure and then slowly get the rest. I'd only get the whole deal at once if Benoit was included.
