On a scale of 1-10, I gave it an 8. I was leaning towards 7.5, but that would be average, and I think it was a little above average. I try to be unbiased and not let myself get spoled by Foley flying off the cage and HBK getting killed. I hold the gold standard of hell In A Cell matches that stay in the ring being the one between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.
I tried to compare this one to that, and I think the Lesnar one was a little better, not a lot, but a little. This one had a few firsts. like batista kicking out of the tombstone. Yeah Hogan got up from one, but not a kickout. Kane kicked out of two at WM14, but you could say that the first two weren't executed properly (they weren't), and that kane "barely moved" to kick out, and often times they get concidered as pins. This is the first time anyone has ever kicked out of Undertaker's tombstone that was executed properly and a full kickout.
Undertaker survived two spinebusters and a Batista Bomb through a table, and Batista actually kicked out of a last ride, a chokeslam, AND a tombstone, all in one match! that seems impossible.
I say the match could have been slighly better if the "throught crushing" of Batista could have been seen by more people other than next to the steps in the corner.
I say that of the HIAC matches that stayed in the ring, That taker vs Brock is the best, then HHH vs HBK, then HHH vs Batista (because of the ending), and then Undertaker vs Batista. I actually wasn't surprized that Edge appeared, as i was expecting it. THey said during the preview show that Edge was going to return at Survivor Series, and well, by the end of the night when the HIAC match started, there was still no Edge. So I figured he would interfere in the match at the end.
EDIT- I meant to have WAY more answers to my answer side, but my computer is acting WAY to slow.....
