I didn't see the show, but he sat with Vince, and seemed to be a face cheering on his "brother". Did he say anything...was he a genuine face or pretending. He wasn't even mentioned on RAW, which I find odd. I actually find this whole angle very odd right now.

Probably leading to an eventual father/son vs mentor/midget match with Vince/Shane vs Finlay/Hornswoggle. Or maybe just Shane vs Finlay, but I can't see Vince not putting himself in the match, really.

Why does there have to be a point to everything?

i would love if this was setting up to a shane vs finlay match. shane rarely fails to impress when in the ring and i am sure he and finlay could put on a good match.

Why does there have to be a point to everything? Because last time we heard about the rest of the McMahons, they were in seclusion and not commenting on the fact that Vince had a bastard child. Now that it's Hornswoggle, apparently they're ok or something, as evidenced by Shane's first appearance in months showing him being supportive of his little bro.

From what it looked like he was legit cheering for Hornswoggle while Vince wasn't really. I think this might be leading to Shane turning on Vince.

I think it was supposed to cement the fact that the McMahon family had accepted him.

I think it was supposed to cement the fact that the McMahon family had accepted him. Yeah pretty much. He seemed to just be there so it could look like there's lots of McMahon support. Whether to actually support him or just give Swoggle the guise of appearing to support him...we don't know yet, but that's okay.

He was there for his little Bro. "Stone Cold" Fit Finley has a nice ring to it.
