On WWE 24/7 they have a new Round Table Discussion show where they're talking about wrestling bad asses.
Patterson starts talking about Amateur wrestlers that transitioned well to professional wrestling, they mention Hodge, the Briscoes (not mark and Jay) and then Angle and Lesnar are talked about in a positive light which is followed by a video package about there Iron Man Match.
So, WWE doesn't completely erase these 2 or just take shots at them when they have a chance.

Couple of factors at work here.
-One, all the petty, or grudge carrying people in the WWE office (see members of the booking committee, Vince himself) aren't likely involved in 24/7 all that much.
-Complimenting Angle isn't a huge surprise in general. His initially delusional comments about WWE and himself when he first joined TNA aside, the guy's largely behaved himself as far as bashing the WWE.
-Angle and Lesnar were both world champions, won KOTR, and headlined Wrestlemania. Not bringing them when talking about amateur wrestlers would be a little silly.

I'm glad they seem to take the high road on 24/7 Especially on these round table shows, I'm glad to see they don't censor peoples thoughts.

Angle is at least doing well for himself, only leaving WWE when looming wellness tests threatened to kick him in the head. I wouldn't rule out Angle coming back, he'd probably be welcomed back with open arms. As far as his wwe bashing, there's probably no other reason than to appease his current paymasters. Lesnar, unfortunately, was a has been at 25. What else does he have to fail at before he decides he's going to go crawling back to Vince? There's really no reason to bury either guy, but there's also no reason to put them over like they did. Kudos to the roundtablers.

What else does he have to fail at before he decides he's going to go crawling back to Vince? Really cause' you know, he has done nothing but FAIL since leaving WWE... Must we go through this again: 1) Despite not having any college football experience and only highschool experience became a walk-on for an NFL team (despite being later let go) 2) Went to Japan, won some titles (although he walked out on wrestling all together, which isn't a bad thing for him physically and personally) 3) Won a lawsuit against Vince McMahon and allowed to compete in sports again. 4) Won his first MMA fight in devastating fashion after 69 seconds in June, and recently got signed to a big-money contract with UFC, one of the most promising prospects in all of MMA, and has a fight with former UFC Heavyweight champion Frank Mir in February at UFC 81.... You know you're right, Brock Lesnar has failed everytime since leaving WWE. ;D
