At the beginning of RAW I had no clue why they were showing the torch runner... Then the theme music starts. What did you think it was at first?

I assumed it was going to be something with Jericho. Like he would use the torch to light something that would introduce Jericho...or something.
Orton saying that he was the one behind it confused the heck out of me.
"He..he hired a guy to run a torch to him? O....Kay..."

Did he really run 27 miles? Yep. A tremendous feat if you ask me.

I thought it was some sort of lead in to Jericho.

"Passing the torch" is a common expression that means something like, "acknowledging the new generation" or "giving the new guys a rub." Did he really run 27 miles? Psst: wrestling is a work, my good man. You can cut to video packages that are pre-taped.

OK, as someone who is not an indy wrestler, I'd love to know how he got this opportunity. I would have been more than happy to fly down for Raw , run 27 miles in honor of Randy Orton, and get closelined by Chris Jericho.

I would have done that too. WHO IS THIS GUY AND WHY DID HE GET THIS OPPORTUNITY?!

I didn't understand why everyone during the Raw thread thought it was so unrealistic. 27 miles is a little more than the length of the New York City marathon. I know he didn't really run the whole way but it could be done in 2+ hours

At the beginning of RAW I had no clue why they were showing the torch runner... Then the theme music starts. What did you think it was at first? Vince's lame ass attempt at "The RAW Olympics": a shot at the WWE title. And then he'd throw Hornswaggle in there, and Santino would come out and do his stereotype crap, and then Triple H would pedigree the winner. Something like that.

I'm surprised they didn't use indy wrestlers Chris Blanchard, Mark Machismo, Chris Thunder, Dynamite Dan Dorko....
