Ok, and what could exactly the Rock bring to the table?
His broad choice of silly catchphrases? We have already our bases covered by Cena...
His oh-so-awesome penis/nuts/ass jokes? Cena got lambasted for a minor abuse of such material. And we'd still use D-X for an overdose of witty one-liners
His promos? Meh, Jericho's back. And we have too much talking already
The Rock has done everything he could do, and probably more than that. WWE are where they are because they refuse to accept the "demise" of the Attitude Era [that wasn't that awesome either...another story for another day].
Bring back guys who have at least some unfinished work... or like NEW FACES!

The Rock has done it all, there really isn't anything left he could do that he hasn't already done before. But, it would be nice if he made another appearance somewhere down the line, preferably I'd love to see him come back as Hollywood Rock.

i would anti-mark for the rock's return.
rock is a movie star. he comes back and wrestles a match or two and leaves again.
he could care less about wrestling and i could care less about him.

Bring back guys who have at least some unfinished work... or like NEW FACES! Very true. Rock was, and is my favourite wrestler of all time, but having him back especially after him making so many movies would be a step backwards. We need new people in the business, not the same people from the '90s (eg Hacksaw Jim Duggan). Besides, what would Rocky do? They've already done the "Evil Hollywood" angle with him. When he appeared to do a promo on Raw just before Mania, I'll admit I realised I missed him. Then I thought better about it and realised he's become a successful actor. If his career goes down the tubes I'm sure he could come back and do a WWE Films production ....

The Rock returning I think would have as much impact as Austin or Foley returning these days. Just more of the same stuff each time and nothing new to bring. His time in the sun is gone.

The Rock returning would have a greater impact than Austin and Foley simply becuase he has been seen exactly once in the last few years, unlike Foley and Austin, who seem to show up every 6 weeks.

He can make a few one-time appearances every now and then without overstaying his welcome. I'd like to see him get inducted into the Hall of Fame someday.
