Don't know if this jumped out at anyone else as well, but during the Miz/Morrison Vs The Major Jobbers on Smackdown - not once did JBL acknowledge that the Miz and Morrison were even in the match.
It was by far the quietest I've ever heard him. He only said a few lines which involved how it was a "great opportunity for the Major's" and "the majors getting inducted to smackdown..etc"
Only once did Cole have to ask "so John what do you think of Morrison in the ring?" to which he said "more a fan of the ground and pound guy myself, but i like some acrobatic stuff"
Don't know if I'm allowed to post the match, but if you want to go back somewhere online and watch it, it really backs up the news, last week, about JBL and Morrison's backstage scuffle.

I don't get what JBL thought was so horrible about their tag title match.
And the commentary on ECW, while it was pretty disjointed and annoying, is still a step up from hearing Tazz talk.

Even if you're not a fan of those two (which I am not as I couldn't give a crap about either), if your job is to put them over, then you got to.
But as this is JBL, I don't think he'll get in trouble for it.

By way of punishment, everyone within the company is now required to address JBL as "Jibble". Except for Ron Simmons, who must approach mr Jibble, point at him, say "Farooq says DAMN!" Then run away.

As much as JBL isn't doing his job on commentary, Miz and Morrison haven't really been doing a stellar job when JBL confronted them. Maybe this is a sign.

This doesn't sound like he refused anything it sounds like he may have been a bit quiter and you are jumping to conclusions.

I'm not normally one to stick up for Jibbles, but in this case, I understand why he did it. Morrison and Miz, while on commentary, spent the ENTIRE match putting themselves over, and talked more about a hat than the match they were watching. That's bush-leauge. JBL, in essence, did the same thing to them.
Yeah, it's immature, but maybe, assuming the rumors are true from the ECW/SD incident, this little bit of idiocy from JBL will make those two realize how they came off when they pulled the same stunt.

Eh, he did say that Miz and Morrison were great talents and that they seemed to be working as well as they did the week before.
Though I did like his line when Cole asked him about Morrison; "Well I'm more of a ground and pound fan, but I do like thata crobatic stuff like I used to do".

Maybe the no selling commentary was a wrestlers court verdict. Judgetaler- Miz, Morrison as punishment for your poor commentary JBL will not mention you during your match so nananananana Miz- thats it no ass raping in the showers?  Morrison- Shut up Mike |
