Was anyone else a little caught-off-guard by Hornswoggle's very normal voice when he thanked Finlay before his match with Mark Henry?
By the way, that match was much more entertaining than I expected. Finlay's doubleteam moves were classic.

A midget in wrestling can speak?
I thought all they could do was run between the legs of refs and bite people's bum bums?

It's not that he can speak that weirded me out. Of course he can talk.
It's just he didn't feel the need to speak in a voice fitting the character.
It's like Kane just using an normal voice to order food.

Was it squeaky or too manly? It was just really, really.... normal.

I think that was for the extra motivation that they want people to cheer Finlay. I noticed it too and thought it was a way to get people to start marking for Finlay, which is awesome.

The look on Hornswoggle's face really sold it, too: a look of deep gratitude, though not in a comedic way. The look you would give a friend who had your back when you really needed them.

I haven't cried like that since Lion King. Could really feel his emotion in those simple two words, Finley had his back against the mammoth Mark Henry and the little guy really appreciated that.

I would have marked big time for that. But I figured Finlay only eats shredded wheat. I am enjoying the Finlay vs Mcmahon stuff though.

You know, I've never liked Hornswaggle but would be all for a gimmickless midget. Just some guy that happens to be little. All the passed over opportunities for jokes would probably kill Vince inside.
