Here is the set up you must come up with an answer for... so...

HOW WOULD YOU BOOK IT?

As we know, Y2J returned in grand fashion last week, with a huge pop, lots of pyro, and in shape.

What if at some time during the past week 'something' bad happened between Vince and Jericho 'backstage'. I won't go over several things that might cause the following so you guys can picture what happened in your head. But the important thing is that Y2J was FIRED as a result of the 'bad' thing(s)' that took place between Vince and Y2J. Yes, it is pretty absurd, and yes, Y2J would have had to do something insane for it to happen, but for the sake of the game imagine Y2J is gone.

Now...

BOOK IT!

If you were Vince McMahon, how would you resolve the fact that you just brought back Y2J to huge fanfare, exciting all of the 'non-internet smark' fans. ( IE, the majority of the fans )

The fans will be badly confused as to why Y2J came back, but did nothing.

What story would you make up to cover the fact Y2J is gone?

I have my own, but I am very curious as to all of your ideas!

Jericho had to go, his planet needed him.

Vince addresses the fans in a somber fashion and says something along the lines of:
Jericho came back on a handshake deal and after his debut, he made it clear he didn't feel the fans gave him the respect he deserved, and therefore had no intention to ever perform for WWE fans again. Apologize for Jericho being so selfish; then have Jeff Hardy beat Orton for the title later that night, cleanly.

Vince comes out and says that Jericho was taken out after last weeks show and is in critical condition in the hospital. To support this, an ambulance is shown loading someone on a strecther (from last week; you can't really see who it is because Jericho's gone). Vince is pissed, and wants to know who was behind it. Of course, all clues point to Orton.

Next week, Cena makes a surprise appearance, and cuts a promo on Orton. At the end of the show, he's taken out too. Again, its not shown when it actually happens.

This continues until the Rumble. Cryptic clues start to be left after all of the WWE's greats are taken out after surprise appearances. Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan. Finally, all clues reveal that the mystery man will be entered into the Royal Rumble. He enters in at number 30, with everybody already in the ring. The clock counts down, the lights go out, and our attacker is.....Brock Lesnar.

You see someone that's the spitting image of Jericho walking away from the camera, then from nowhere the marathon runner gets his revenge, and that's the last you see of Jericho.
