Oh and heres one from 1999. ppl were still bitching about wwe's booking in 1999. Danger3210 View profile More options Oct 2 1999, 1:00 am Newsgroups: rec.sport.pro-wrestling From: danger3...@aol.com (Danger3210) Date: 1999/10/02 Subject: Is hhh gonna break the record of... Reply to author | Forward | Print | Individual message | Show original | Report this message | Find messages by this author Does he have the record of World Champion that has received the most beatdowns??? Man, who the hell is booking this crap??? You're trying to push hhh as a legit badass champ and all he does is get beatdown by everybody including Vince McMahon??? And for some reason, they are pushing him like a face... Everything is against him... I don't know... His whole World Title push just sucks bad and IMO it's not really his fault... He should be kicking Austin's ass for months and months... (not the other way around)... and then Austin finally beats him for the title... I mean, does ANYONE know how to book a badass dominating heel anymore??? It's really not that hard to do... Yeah, I could definitely see someone writing that kind of post word for word nowadays.

Hmm. Most of you nailed it on the head.
"If WCW had the financial backing and tv contract Vince Mcmahon had, they'd run McMahon out of business."
"Did you see how Miss. Elizabeth rubbed Hogan's arm? I bet you they are together!
"It pisses me off that Dynamite Kid is just in the mid-card. He should get a match with Hogan, and shoot on him."
"Why did Shawn Michaels lose his smile?"
"Shawn Michaels has the WORST music in the business. His gimmick is just as stupid. He won't last with having such jobber music."
"Hunter Hearst Helmsley? What a stupid name. He'll be stuck on Saturday Night Superstars for a while."
"Savio Vega= God"

The IWC existed way before 2002. In the mid 90's, Scott Keith was a regular on USENET.
During 2000, people hated the Rock for the same reasons people hate Cena now. Doing the same jokes, using five-moves of doom, being roided up, etc..

Funny thing is, I bet there were IWC guys online during that time thanks to BBS'.

This one made me laugh:

Remember Public Enemy in WWF? How about Shane Douglas in WCW? Plus the only thing Dudleys are good at, which is swearing at fans, will have to be toned down for TV.

Their schtick is incensing the fans, which I think they will still do it, but not to the extent they did in ECW. I think they have to to get over in the WWF. Sign Guy Dudley could also be a help with some creative signs that make us laugh....

Cactus Jack - not a very good selling job by JR, we all know he is coming back as some kind of heel.
On the subject of JR - stop referring to the WCW as the "masters league" and the "old sweaty guys" or whatever...1) we all know you would sign ANY top WCW talent in 2 seconds (i.e. Jarrett and Syxx - and they are hardly top talent) and 2) You cannot push Terry Funk and the Road Warriors on us one minute and trash Hogan, Savage, Henning, et al the next.
Peeing on bikes? Slightly amusing.
Val Venis? Stomach turning.
Austin in jail? So totally unbelievable.
HHH is somekind of leader?
LOD 2000? Do I use that to polish my silverware?
In the words of HHH "Who booked this crap?"

The PPV build-up is way too long and drawn out. They should try and have a PPV every month or so. I laughed really hard at this one because you know it's true haha

Worst Superstars episode ever. WWF is going out of business in 6 months. What's with this stupid "Sexy Boy" gimmick they gave Shawn Michaels? This has no lasting power at all. Way to ruin a career, Vince.
At least Marty Jannety can still become huge, by getting over on in ring ability alone.
Bryan Pillman didn't have heart disease. Kevin Sullivan murdered him as revenge for calling him "bookerman" in WCW. It's a conspiracy.

Why aren't they letting Dynamite Kid main event shows at MSG? So what if he can't talk or that when he does talk he sounds like he gargled with broken glass and sand, his in-ring ability should be enough.

Rumor is that Vince wants to sign WCW has been "Stunning" Steve Austin. What's the point? Why doesn't Vince just push his homegrown talent like Aldo Montoya and Tatanka?

Oh god more ex-WCW guys, geez we had that Jean-Paul Levesque guy jump over after jobbing to Alex Wright and now this Austin guy. Ugh, it's not like he'll ever do anything for them. Vince should just focus on pushing his guys like Savio Vega and Rad Radford.

Here's another one from February 1990, its about the upcoming Hogan/Warrior encounter.
"What inducement is Vince gonna use to get the Hulkster to do a clean job for the Warrior? The other problem with the Warrior as champ is that we'll be subjected to an endless series of squash matches as he's virtually incapable of doing more then about 3 minutes of good work, much less carrying some of Vince's other bozos to a finish. (It's going to be interesting to watch Hogan try to carry the Warrior through WM.)"

Another great find on the message board posted earlier
"I think Austin is a great heel. But there is no way no how ever any chance in hell he will ever be WWF champ. He doesn't have monster heel quality.
One more thing...PINNED BY SAVIO VEGA!!!!!!!!
ZMARK
I'd like to see it but it ain't gonna be."

There is no question. No doubt. None. Hogan is only heel until Halloween Havoc and his match with Savage. After that he will turn face in short order and feud with Kevin Nash, who should have beaten the Giant for the title by then. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can't belive it, I am so excited, I'm osrry, I can't talk right now...I am so exicted! !
