So who is a wrestler, that might still be good, but is given too much credit by the fans?
IMO, it's gotta be Punk, although Kennedy is a close second. I'm warming up to Punk a little, but I don't think he's God's gift to wrestling like a lot of smarks would have you believe. Maybe he can be a good part of ECW main event/midcard anywhere else, but I don't think he should be taking over for Cena anytime soon.

I'd say Kennedy. To me he's not that good and quite overrated in my view.

Kennedy is given way too much love for his lack of great work.
Shelton was like that before, but after his botchtastic year the love really did simmer down.

Clearly Punk. I do quite like him, but no way he deserves the amount of man love he gets around here! I've warmed to Kennedy, I'm quite a fan. Everyone else on the list deserves props, even \morrison. His ring work is pretty good, even though his gimmick sucks 17 different kinds os arse!

Kennedy has some neat-o finishers and his mic work is good, but his normal in ring "skillz" aren't that fun to watch and the previous two things he had going for him have deteriorated since he lost the MITB.
Gotta be Kennedy.

Everyone else on the list deserves props, I agree, I was trying to pick people that smarks generally seem to really like, because if I throw in a hoss like Mark Henry it's going to be a no contest. Although I like Mark Henry. He's gotten better since the Attitude era.

I think since he's gone on to RAW, he's been having matches of lesser quality then when he was on SmackDown!. I thought Kennedy was great--up until he faced Batista for the WHC I think at the Royal Rumble. I just couldn't buy Kennedy as a main eventer yet.

By the way, I personally voted for Shelton.

By the way, I personally voted for Shelton. In his defense, he was in storylines with Mae Young and a rubber hand, so it isn't like they were using him as best they could (as a big freaking monster). I liked him at Survivor Series 2003 when he was this huge monster on the heel team.

Matt Hardy
i would have voted for shelton but hes not as highly regarded as Hardy, from what i've seen lately. I'd buy Matt Hardy as a main eventer slightly less than Rey Mysterio

Putting Kennedy on this list is kind of ruining the poll. People here have turned a pretty cold shoulder to him. I guess that means he's made it?

I do believe that Punk was very much overated, but that was no fault of his own. Simply put he can not do in the WWE what he was able to do in the Indies. Punk however is still a hero of mine.
I picked Mr. Kennedy just because when he first debuted in the WWE everyone was raving about him and yes I have warmed up to him and am very entertained by him but he isn't as awesome as many people lead you to believe.

Wait, is this wrestling ability or the overall package?
Because, for as much as I enjoy his promos sometimes, Santino is the topic choice for me.

I'd maybe say either Kennedy or Matt Hardy.
But that could just be personal bias against them.
