Of course that wouldn't be there names but the idea is basically a team comes in were one guy is a face and one is a heel. They're family which is why they put up with each other
I'm thinking that Gallant starts the matches and pushes their opponent into the corner. As he gives a clean break Goofus starts choking the guy in the corner. When both men are down he acts like a heel, distracts the ref and drags Gallant to the corner.
And later a series of bad breaks can lead to Gallant getting angry at the world while Goofus discovers he likes having fans and because of Gallants attitude he starts matches now so he can't do the choke in the corner spot and he ends up playing Ricky Morton more often.

I'm taking away your Highlights subscription and I'm gonna circle all of the hidden objects in the giant black and white picture on page 11.
I'll give the magazines back to you after I'm done just for the Ricky Morton reference in the end of your post.

Goofus places his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.
Gallant only accepts a clean pinfall.

I don't know, I think it's hard to do without everyone just seeing them as a heel team because there's a heel in it. And WWE doesn't like things that are hard to do. But I kinda like the idea.

I can't blame WWE too much for that. Indies don't really have to worry about casual fans not getting it, but WWE does.
