Since it's fairly obvious, barring a major heel turn or Randy Orton injury, that Orton will be in the Raw half of the WrestleMania Main Event. Out of every babyface on Raw, who should he face?

I'm hoping it's Chris Jericho. Frankly, I think they signed Y2J Vs Orton too quickly. They could have built it up over the months, maybe have had Jericho win the Rumble and go on to beat Orton at WM24 and become the new WWE Champion.

It'd be nice if we could get some fresh blood into the main event with a Jeff Hardy, but HHH is not NOT going to be main eventing a Wrestlemania.
It's interesting to see how they handle Jericho after his run with Orton.

HHH.... He's the top face on raw(although Hardy and Y2J along with Flair may have something to say about that), is putting in some solid work, is being kept away from Orton currently, hasnt been in the main event in a very long time....It makes sense.
Although personally i'd love to see Orton vs Flair...

Orton vs Jericho....im saying that Jericho loses at Armageddon, and have Vince/Orton come out and say that was his only chance to fight for the title, give Orton another challenger to face at the Royal Rumble, put Jericho in the Rumble match as number 1 entrant and have him win the Rumble, and face Orton at WM24 and win the title

Hard to say, any main event with Orton in it has been done already several times with guys like HHH,HBK,Cena and now Jericho coming up. I hope he loses it by then.

I think Jericho either wins by DQ or Orton screws him out of the match. Jericho then wins the Rumble.
As for HHH, I think the original plan was for him to challenge, but he had a couple of hours with the title at No Mercy, and that probably ruined him a bit.

It better not be Triple H. And I say that, sadly, as a HHH fan. If you watched the HBK documentary on his DVD, HHH said he was supposed to main event last year. And he's worked RAW's Main event at Wrestlemania the previous 4 straight times as well. Come on, WWE. Think outside the box. HHH at Wrestlemania is so played out. I think at this stage he should just work a top undercard match like Taker does every year. He doesn't need to Main Event again for no reason. It's time to step aside already. His legacy is already in place. WWE needs to be building towards the future, and going full intensity behind two completely fresh people. I mean, if Foley & Rock hadn't put him over initially, HHH himself would have never been in the position he is now in. All it would have took to derail him after his first, lackluster reign as champion, is a bunch of guys who already had their shot taking Trips spot to put themselves over when they didn’t need it anymore. But luckily for HHH, the main eventers of his initial run really put him over strong, and helped make him a star.
That’s the irony of HHH in WWE, and the root I think of all his hate. Unlike Hogan, HHH knows what it feels like to be in the doghouse, to be a young guy dealing with unfair politics. A young guy ready to main event, only to see other people leap-frog you that you’ve already surpassed in many ways. You’d think HHH would remember all that, and look at the people that were like him, and like Foley & Rock did with him, do all that he can to make them EQUALS and on his level. And as a result, make them credible main eventers for Wrestlemania. Hopefully, come Wrestlemania, he does the right thing and steps aside so someone else can have the top spot. And by that, I mean the actual top spot. And not just a throwaway match that happens to be for a title, while he himself wrestles in the “real main event” with someone else.

Tough to predict what the raw main event could be like at WMania. They could go with many options: 1)Orton has faced HHH & HBK many times before, he is facing Jericho at Armageddon. I don't think they will go for a Jericho/Orton rematch at WMania, so maybe it could be a 4 way. 2)Jeff Hardy is getting a big push. Michaels could have one last title run, wins it in a triple threat match. Jeff wins a no 1 contenders match and we get Jeff Hardy vs Michaels at WMania. Leading up to WMania, Michaels turns heel. Michaels puts Jeff over at WMania. With Orton as champ, its difficult to tell who will take the belt off him, it could be Jericho but i think Y2J will win the rumble. Don't think Lashley will main event WMania, Kennedy- not sure. So i think it will be a 4 way(HHH vs Orton vs Michaels vs Jericho)

vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the opening match? Seriously, Jericho would be the only viable option.

It better not be HHH. I love HHH, but I don't think they can justifiably put him in the main event of Wrestlemania with Orton. It won't have that'special, big match feel' that a WM main event needs, because it's been done at least 3 times before.
I feel that it has to be a four way, as that will be the only way to make it interesting cosindering Orton has already faced them one on one. We can have Jericho there, and the possiblity of HHH and HBK going at it one more time for the sake of the title can peak interest.
I feel it was all building towards Kennedy and Cena, but unfortunately that won't happen now. I can see Kennedy retiring Flair at the event, or winning and using the MITB after either HHH/HBK/Y2J wins the title to get him some huge heel heat. Him winning over HHH could kick start a feud that could last for months - if he isn't chosen to beat Flair.
