One thing I have noticed over the last few weeks since ECW and Smackdown have started the "Talent Exchange" is the amount of wrestlers starting to pull Double Duty, working on both ECW and Smackdown.
The main people I've seen doing this is Kane and Big Daddy V.
It seems to be the main feud of the "exchange" as Smackdown is being used to get this ECW Monster over with the crowds and because of this, the crowds get see Kane/Big Daddy V on one show while Kane/[Insert Name] with BDV interference on the other.
Don't forget the week of Survivor Series, where the crowd got to see not one, not two, but three tag matches featuring Matt Hardy and MVP as they faced each on ECW (Hardyz/MVP & Kennedy) and teamed together to face Morrison & Miz twice (inacting the "Rematch" Clause) on Smackdown.
Could this cause a "burnout" from the audience? The allure of someone coming out is already gone. Yay, Kane! Yay, Explosion! Yeah...Kane? Yeah...Explosion.
So, I guess my main question is, Could this have a possible long-term effects Smackdown/ECW tapings? A stigma of not really entertaining the crowds as much as only caring about TV?
EDIT: Excuse me, I'm a bit tired. There is also the workers themselves to consider. Extra matches + Extra time = Extra Chance for Injury. Just another point I'd like to throw out.

I like how Armando Estrada, supposed GM of ECW, made this deal, yet we've barely seen him since.
While Vickie Guerrero is all over the screen.
Thats a little back asswards if you ask me.

I've been all for it, though I see your point.
Still, undercard guys have benefitted a lot from the exposure.

Also, most of the time ECW is taped 2nd. So they can't do anything complex with the story. Pretty much just WE MAD SO WE FIGHT WHEN WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO stuff they've been doing with V/Kane.

I bet the wrestlers love the double duty when they open their paychecks. Probably not too shabby, you know?

Do they get double paychecks? I know thats how it works in TNA, but I never heard of how WWE handles appearing on different episodes of the same taping.
