Wow I am amazed at people bashing Tito. Either people don't realize how good he was or theyare too young and never saw him at his prime. First he was a groundbreaker. I can't think of another Hispanic wrestler in that time that wasn't a sterio type(or another Hispanic wrestler for that matter). He held multiple titles. Made Randy Savage and helped elevate the IC title. His matches with Valentine, Savage, Murocco were all classic. I absolutely beleive Tito should be in. As far a Harcore goes, he is very servicable and has had great staying power. Longest running employee besides Taker. Hell if you let Ace Orton in the HOF why not Hardcore

Hell if you let Ace Orton in the HOF why not Hardcore Pedro Morales, first man to complete the "Tripple crown.(IC,HWC,TTC)" Ditto everything else you say. And I was there. Tito would get as much POP as Hogan. This was in a Time When there were Different levels of "House Shows" from MSG to High school Gym. It was also a Time when Hogan would stay off the Road and it would be the IC and TT Champs who would carry the show along with a hot non title related feud. (Danny Davis comes to mind or Jake versus "The Model"). Tito also was a regular Face on Hogan's cartoon . He was used to market to the Latino comunity. I used to go to the monthly house shows at the meadowlands and MSG and I might see Hogan five times a year but Tito was always there. On top of that Hogan used to wrestle Mid-Card so he could leave before the Arena emptied or wrestle last and drive out of the tunnel. Tito always walked out and ALWAYS took time to stop and talk to us. Tito belongs in, in my book and like I said I was there.

Michael Cole has repeatedly referred to him as a former Intercontinental Champion, but he never won the belt. When he had the house show with Jarrett, the belt was declared vacant and Jarrett won it in the follow-up match. This is similar to when Savio Vega wrestled Goldust on a house show, they declared the title vacant, and then Goldust won the follow-up match. Holly's best shot at really winning the belt would probably have been during the initial months of his "Hardcore Holly" push.

I can't really call Hardcore Holly a Hall of Fame contender when he's never even come close to main event status or hell, ever held any title worth a damn for any significant period of time.
And, no, I don't count his time on ECW or getting destroyed by Lesnar at the 2004 Royal Rumble as main event status.

I'd compare Holly to "Cowboy" Bob Orton than Tito. All Orton ever did was be Piper's stooge and wear a cast, yet he's in. His son has accomplished more than Bob ever did.

If I go out of bounds with this statement, go ahead and delete this post.
If Hardcore Holly is not worthy for the Hall of Fame, then how in the blue hell do some of the same people say Owen Hart is a sure-fire Hall of Famer.
I see quite of few people in this thread that I remember wanting Owen Hart in the HOF that are saying NO to Holly.
I don't get it. Just because you don't like him, doesn't mean he does not deserve the Hall. Holly and Owen are very similar, just that one of them doesn't have a last name that makes people emotional.
Ok, now that my stupid observation is out of the way, I say HOF to Holly. Why not? It's not like the WWE HOF is some beacon of Truth and Justice for the wrestling world. It's more or less a glorified permanent title for retired wrestlers.

Oh yes the Brock/Holly match. Leading up to the match at Royal Rumble 2004 they gave it a brief feud to follow it to make it look more important than it was. Its not main event. Dont fool yourself. Throwing it as 3rd to last on the card dont help it either.
It was a match to help get Brock over even more as a big squasher. Brock wasnt jobbing to Holly at all. That result wasnt even in thought.
There was money to be made from Brock Lesnar. Money made from him giving wrestlers the F-5. Not cash from old Sparky Thurman Plug.

God, no. A one day tag team title reign and a bunch of (mostly meaningless) Hardcore title reigns from a mediocre at best wrestler does not a HOF inductee make. I am pretty sure he held the Tag belts on more than one occasion and for more than one day each time but, no I don't see him getting in. However there are a lot of people in there that I wouldn't say should be in so why not?

Owen was also an actual Intercontinental Champion, unlike Holly. Plus he was a King of the Ring winner. Not to mention a damn good wrestler.

It's more or less a glorified permanent title for retired wrestlers. Owen was a fantastic wrestler, multiple tag champion, IC champ, Euro champ, KOTR winner, had multiple main event feuds, and put on a Meltzer approved 5* match as well as many other classics. He also was more over at pretty much any given time then Sparky ever has been. That, in my opinion, puts him way ahead of Holly. It's not like people say Owen for HOF just because he gave his life (literally) for the company/business.

"Yeah talk about the time Holly tried to make Brock look bad in the ring and ended up breaking his neck. LOL"
Yeah about that match at Royal Rumble 2004...
Didnt Holly sandbag a powerbomb in that match and end up putting himself out with an injury?

Man, I hadn't seen that clip since the Rumble feud. That never gets old. The 3 sped up replays totally make that clip
