I hope it's another taped segment, preferably with him reading from a random newspaper obscuring his face again. I take pride in happening to be at the RAW where The Rock made his final appearance, heh.

i'd guess at 30% of him showing... he might but i doubt it will be live. If he does return, segment with Santino and i will die a happy man

I enjoy how people are saying 'I really don't think he shoulud wrestle'.. as if the option was there. The Rock is done with wrestling, there is literally no shot of a return for him. He's moved on, he's in Hollywood now and probably for good. He was only an active wrestler for 6 years, he's been long gone since 2003 as a competitor, and yet there's still people who think he's coming back to wrestle a match at Mania. It won't happen because The Rock won't let it happen, nobody else.

All he's gonna do is show up in a pre taped segment to spout off all his tired catchphrases and then shill for his latest direct to video disasterpiece that would make even Ed Wood cringe.
Been there, done that.

What I'd Mark for;
Raw opens with Video Montage of 15 years.
King and JR do their Opening.
When all of a sudden
"If you smelllllllll...."
Rock cuts an awsome "Rock" promo...
When all of a sudden...
"Cue Opera Music"
Santino cuts an Awsome promo with the rock with lots of back and forth. Look for "I layeth down-a the smack on you ass-a candy" "It-a no matterr whatta you think"
Must include.
Santino: I could beat-a you up-a maself Rock: OK Santino: Ok Waht...?
They then go atit with Rock coming up on top.
When all of a sudden
Orton is in the ring and Rocky gets an RKO
Orton cuts a promo over Rocks prone body about how it's his time.
When all of a sudden
"3-2-1 Save Us..."
Jericho chases Orton out of the ring....
Main Event Rock and Jericho against Santino and Orton.

Been there, done that. And it'll STILL get the biggest pop of the night (Hell, probably of the entire year.) I don't know whether that's a testament to Rock's popularity or how crappy the product's become that he can spit out the same catchphrases from yesteryear and get a huge response.

Why shouldn't the Rock get a chance to fleece Vince for all he's worth for one appearance? At least he's not obsessed with his "legacy" and booking one-time matches at Wrestlemania like some wrestlers we know.

If there's one thing that will always grab long-time wrestling fans, it's nostalgia.
The Rock making an appearance, just to say hello, would make us all mark out. Hell, look at how much we're marking out over Jericho's return, when he's only been out for 2 years and his return was the "worst kept secret in pro wrestling" making it sort-of anti-climatic.
I would LOVE for the Rock to make the appearance. It would be a lot of fun and make the 15 anniversary show have an epic feel, which is deserving...because it's sort of an epic occurrence.

I never liked the Rock. Sure, he made me laugh a couple times, and put on a couple good matches, but he never really did anything for me.

Yeah, because The Game Plan was a massive flop. What's the difference between Rock doing this and Foley coming back everytime he has a book?

I hope they have The Rock do what they had him do for Eugene so many years ago, only this time he helps put over Hornswaggle.
Hoo-wah!
