We've already had flair vs. Mcmahon on Raw or something..... but do you see them already building this with the retirement angle?
IDK why I see this happening so clearly but they should have one hell of a match at the grandest stage of them all

I hope it doesn't
Who carries who?
And Vince "retiring" Flair would be just wrong

Well my ideal situation (not the person your quoting) would be Ric Flair to face Randy Orton, Batista or Triple H considering that all of them were apart of Evolution. Arn Anderson can no longer wrestle so that is out of the question but if Ric really wanted to leave his mark and give back...why not face a younger guy who he hasn't faced and give him the rub?

Guys, Flair isn't going to retire at Wrestlemania, so get that thought out of your head. I wish Flair would just be a ring manager, and help put over some young wrestlers.

Ah, the age-old IWC answer to everything - give a younger guy the rub. Either that, or turning someone heel.

I know it would never happen, but i would love to see Flair take on Ricky Steamboat one last time. It doesn't even have to be that good of a match, it would just be for nostalgia.

We've already had flair vs. Mcmahon on Raw or something..... but do you see them already building this with the retirement angle? I was thinking the same thing after reading an article at WWE.com that detailed the history between the two of them. I would have figured that Randy Orton would have been the logical choice if they went with giving a wrestler the chance to be known as the one to retire Ric Flair. But WWE muffed that up by having Orton face Flair in the first week. So the Legend Killer doesn't get to kill the greatest legend WWE has. So my guess would be that Flair gets retired by ... ...? ....! Hornswoggle McMahon !! Nowadays he's the answer to everything. And it won't be at a PPV. It'll be a spur of the moment match on RAW.

Im still watching the situation with Sting. His TNA contract is up and he's just letting that 1 year extension dangle out there.
Maybe he's thinking about finally pulling the trigger and going to work Mania. He and Flair could go out together. It would be a big time moment.
I honestly think if Sting is ever going to do it, the time is right, right now. We'll just have to see what happens.
He's obviously thinking about something, because he jumped on that contract extension last year.

Vince needs to stop wrestling in general. But it should be someone like Kennedy that retires Flair, not some half wrestler thats just as old as Flair.

HBK does seem a solid choice, because as far as I know the only two matches they had that the WWE acknowledges were Flair wins.
I think Cody Rhodes should face him at least once during this.
And we should try to get an old opponent or two.
But personally I'd like to see him challenge for a title at Mania, and win.

Rico should do it. Flair can't beat Rico!

I've had down that a good match for WM would be Mr. Kennedy vs. Ric Flair. While it wouldn't be a technical masterpiece, it'd be a good way for Kennedy to get a push and for Flair to bow out.

I said this in another thread but I agree that it shouldn't be Vince.
What I'd like to see is Flair win the Royal Rumble like he did in 92. Then he has one last shot at the belt or his career is over.
Him and Orton have a knock down drag out. Flair wins and Miami Explodes. The Undertaker comes out to celebrate with him after having extended his streak to 16-0.
They're interrupted by (Kennedy, Jeff Hardy or Jericho (Jericho would be my pick)) who won the MITB match by rolling out of the ring and hiding till everybody had beaten themselves unconscious. (Would love to see Kennedy or Jericho roll out of the ring and join The King and JR on comentary. Then jump back in at an opportune moment).
He cashes in his "shot" in a tripple threat match for both Belts. If he wins he would retire flair and End Taker's streak which would be the greatest Heat moment since Piper slapped Cyndi Lauper.
