Yeah, British indy rings are very very titchy, especially when on tape.

I think WWE's ring is too big. Many moves, like Irish whips, don't look as good in a bigger ring. Someone said the bigger ring allows the guys and gals to more stuff, but the wrestlers doing enough stuff to warrant a large ring? Especially in the "safe" era
Fun fact:WWE's changed the attributes of their ring due to suggestions made by NBC executives before SNME.
Speaking of ringside structure, don't you think it's time to ditch the ringside announcing set up?

I actually totally forgot that they were ever moved up to the ramp. I was watching a match from the HBK DVD..Shawn vs HHH on RAW..and Shawn did a crossbody to the outside on the side where the announcers usually are sitting..and I got so confused wondering where the hell they went.

WWE's ring is larger than normal(compared to indy rings, WCW, ECW, etc..). Should WWE use a smaller ring? Would it make a difference in terms of cosmetics, quality of matches, more room for crowd attendance, etc...? I don't think it would make a difference in crowd attendance, at least with the current state of business. The live reports have said the upper decks, and large portions of arenas are getting tarped off at lots of show.

I rememebr rvd commented on how during his early wwe run, the larger size of the ring affected most of his moves. Before that I never even noticed the size of the ring.

16x16 is too small. I'm 5'11 and I hate 16x16. There's not enough space in between the ropes and the center of the ring to do hiptosses and other moves to a running opponent.

When Bischoff became GM a year prior to that, he moved J.R and the King to the entranceway. I guess to make it more like the days of Nitro which I marked for.

CMLL's ring looks pretty big, I think it might be 20x20 too.
