And how can you forget that a lot of those matches were released on the first Shawn Michaels DVD? This was a second DVD, meant to compliment the first DVD with new matches and a documentary on HBK.

So you'd rather they release the DVD they released before over and over again? Just buy the first one online, it's not that hard.

I think it is good WWE is putting more rare matches on rather than the ones we've seen a lot and are a bunch of other dvds.

A lot of the matches have been release on his From The Vault DVD set, and/or on other WWE DVDs.
They may be old and not available anymore, but most fans are "supposed" to own them, so a revamped DVD set would likely bomb.
The new DVD isn't bad, even though I feel the praise level is a bit too high even for a WWE release.

The doc. was the best thing in the set. For the extras, that's the only slight complaint. Mentioned before that there's only three of the matches I would ever want to watch again, the rest bored me beyond belief when checking them out again. I'm fine with not including the same matches from the previous Shawn dvd or the classics from WrestleMania, but there are far better matches that the guy has had over the years than the one with the Bulldog at KotR (haven't seen it in years before the dvd), and outside of Owen's commentary that match was a stinker. Kinda wished they included a bit more interviews/promos, maybe throughout the bonus matches as to have something to have a break from a string of rasslin' matches.
Overall, not bad, but could have been a heck of a lot better.

Not disappointed much, though the list of matches is a touch below what I would expect. You can't win them all though, and in due time, we have a proper HBK disc collection.

HBK vs. Billy Jack Haynes - WCCW, 1985 Rockers vs. Buddy Rose & Doug Somers - AWA, 1987 Rockers vs. Super Ninja & Ninja Go - AWA, 1987 Rockers vs. Brainbusters - MSG, 1989 Rockers vs. Hart Foundation - 1990 Rockers vs. Orient Express - RR 1991 HBK vs. British Bulldog - SNME, 1992 HBK wins the Rumble - RR, 1995 HBK vs. Jeff Jarrett - IYH 1995 HBK vs. British Bulldog - KotR 1996 HBK vs. HHH - Raw, 2003 Rockers vs. La Resistance - Raw, 2005 HBK vs. Kurt Angle - Vengeance 2005 HBK vs. John Cena - Raw, 2007
It's a good collection, but I wish they could've added HBK/Diesel from Wrestlemania 11 and HBK/Shelton from the Gold Rush. And maybe 1 or 2 more matches from '96-'97 would've been fine too.

I will agree that some of his single matches with Marty Jannetty should have been on there, but those other matches are already on other DVDs. So, I'm glad they went with more rare matches. Hell, one of the reasons the Bret Hart DVD is so good is because it has a lot of rare matches I had not only never seen but also didn't know took place. I had no idea that Bret ever wrestled Ricky Steamboat, but now I do; and it is a fantastic match. Also, I'm glad that the WrestleMania XII match isn't on there. Sure, it's a good match, but it's 1 hour! That would have taken up a lot of time, and people would have complained that that time could have used for other matches. Plus, it's already on three DVDs (Shawn Michaels: From The Vault, The History of the WWE Title, and the WrestleMania XII DVD of the WrestleMania anthology). So, I applaud WWE for putting some rare Michaels matches on the DVD. Though, they could have put a few more on there.

These are interesting: WCCW 1/11/85 - Shawn Michaels vs. Billy Jack HaynesOctober 1990 - The Rockers vs. The Hart Foundation (WWF Tag Team Championship match, 2 out of 3 falls)
And these are must have for me: Saturday Night's Main Event 11/8/92 - Shawn Michaels vs. The British Bulldog (Intercontinental Championship match) Royal Rumble 1/22/95 - Shawn Michaels enters #1 and wins the Rumble In Your House 7/23/95 - Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Jarrett (Intercontinental Championship match) RAW 3/14/05 - The Rockers vs. La Resistance RAW 4/23/07 - Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena (Wrestlemania rematch, non-title)
Thanks. I can see myself getting this. I am also thankful it's a sequel to From the Vault and not aother DVD geared to new fans. Now give me a sequel to the Mick and Bret DVD's.

I really like the new DVD it's awesome, It got me wanting to buy from the vault. I'm not truly interested in most of his recent matches. i'm more interested in his awesome matches from the past. Plus I always see From the Vault at Best Buy, probably liek with the Foley DVD they'll release a special 3 Disc edition at wal-mart
