Why does the wwe do that? They build up a guy, make him a monster, spend television time on that character, and then feed him to a cruiserweight in Jeff Hardy. Not that Im against it as Hardy is one of the more over guys on Raw but now the "mystique" of Snitsky being the monster is gone. The same thing happened to Umaga. He was a samoan bulldozer turned samoan cow dung.

WWE pushed him to the ground so Jeff could give him a Swanton Bomb :-)

He's been squashing crappy local wrestlers for so long that he couldn't take on a bigger challenge like Jeff Hardy. God how I hate jobbers.

I think he was just being built to be fed to Cena, and since he doesn't really have any talent or charisma (honestly, even with his opponent bent over at 90 degrees, his "big boot" only ever gets as high as the shoulder) he can't sort of settle into a niche like BDV. I really don't want Snitsky to be pushed, he's really really terrible.

What "mystique"? I've seen Murdoch pin him on Sunday Night HEAT.

He was moved from Raw to ECW.
Raw has completely ruined what ECW built up.

They realized shaving his beard and being generic sucked as. It wasn't his fault.

Wow, that's sorta shocking.... Although he did kick out at 3 1/2 so it was like it just barely kept him down for the 3, and then they had him come to his senses pretty quickly, blindside Jeff and grab a chair that he was about to beat him up with before HHH made the ave.

I actually totally forgot that part. Good call. Still, the first loss on free TV is somewhat shocking.

Let the man bring back the beard and his hair, and give him some feet to lick.
All would be right with the world.

Big monsters don't exist in WWE anymore.

Big monsters don't exist in WWE anymore. Big Daddy V's been pushed very well as one. He's tougher looking than Khali, who improved a lot with the Claw, since now his matches actually lead up to something, rather than just randomly chopping or Choke Tossing. Still, V is by far the more talented wrestler, and not as stale.

Snitsky? Mystique?
Aren't we talking about the guy who was vaguely interesting as a baby-punter something like 3 years ago, and then became little more than a jobber?
The "push" was just another 'net report, meant to build on WWE's "obsession for hosses", and all that an eventual push could have been was a throwaway feud with the Champion, before coming back to Heat or ECW.

This is a typical monster heel angle in wrestling, pushing a monster heel, having him fed to the babyface, and usualyl disappearing.
Not everyone can actually get over in the process like Cactus Jack and Abdullah.
