In retrospect, I'm a big fan of Yokozuna. His legdrop looked like it would just crush someone, and he was much more agile than I could have ever imagined. His superkick was a thing of beauty when you stop to think about the fact that he was a legit 500+ pounds.
Also, if the legdrop didn't kill you, Hulkamania, the Banzai drop would.
His face run sucked out loud, though. Guys that big and imposing should never be babyfaces, IMO.

Still funny to have a Samoan playing an evil Japanese sumo wrestler...

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

That is just another name for Japan. Being it's the first big place that gets a sun up or some such.

I've always enjoyed Yoko. Not his matches or anything, but just seeing him always put a smile on my face.
True story, my pet gerbils died (insert gerbil joke here) when I was a kid, so I went to the store one day to buy two more. They didn't have any in stock, but tried to push hamsters on me. I wasn't really interested since I always preferred the friendliness and looks of gerbils over hamster. Long story short, the woman offered me a free gerbil that as she put it "had problems". I had no idea what was wrong with this thing, but it literally looked like it spine made a Y in the back as it was HUGE. So I named him Yokozuna. Sadly, he died the next day when I was at school as he got stuck in a pipe. A vertical pipe, mind you.

I love the way Yoko just sits there for ages while Dubiel is clearly telling the ref that he is being crushed.

Where did they say he hailed from then? Could've sworn they announced him from "land of the rising sun" I'm sure he was billed as from Polynesia.

Early in his career, he was also (kayfabe?) responsible for ending the career of Greg Gagne... thought that'd get more notice here, because of the (partially misguided) Greg Gagne hate around here.
