I'm watching the Monday Night War for 4/28/97, and the RAW has almost every verbal utterance of WWF there (save for a couple of silent spots in the beginning). I've also seen Survivor Series 95 where the first part of the program was censored of WWF utterances, yet all of the 2nd part is completely untouched. Anyone else notice other un-bleepings?

I do. Sometimes when watching I hear them bleep ww bleep or the whole thing. Then moments later I hear them say. wwf.

Yeah, they've been leaving it when when someone says "Chris Benoit" lately. I'm hoping that it means they're working him back into these shows.

Are they allowed to say "WWF" when it's in regards to the pre-Attitude WWF? I know they're allowed to show the classic WWF logo but not the scratchy Attitude era one........does it work that way for the verbal utterance of WWF too?

Even in good old 1984 Gorilla Monsoon days, its no good! |

Remember the RAW in '97 where Steve Austin kept ambushing Bret Hart? You could clearly hear Jerry Lawler talk about "the WWF title."
Regarding Benoit, there was a Nitro where, in a post-match interview, seemingly every other word out of Dean Malenko's mouth was "Chris Benoit." And on another one, Tony Schiavone said "We will see Chris Benoit in action." Of course, we didn't.
