Hayes: "Say no to drugs"
SD Crowd: *silence*
Hayes nods to the crowd, expecting somekind of a response which only gets 1 or 2 cheers.
Guess people don't care about those things anymore.

Taking drugs seems to be popular again even though only losers use drugs.

-Michael Hayes's "Say No to Drugs" line got the biggest pop of the night at the Smackdown tapings. However, Triple H made sure to edit the levels before broadcast in an attempt to bury CM Punk and everything he believes in.

Who would've thought a cheesy 80s-esque line wouldn't go over in the drug ridden 00's

Plus, isn't Michael Hayes telling people to stay off drugs like Big Daddy V telling people to eat a low-carb diet or Candice Michelle telling people to love their own body no matter how they look?

I suddenly have the craving for meth Don't worry, that's a common side-effect to Micheal Cole's announcing. It'll pass.

I personally was a little more taken aback/surprised by the guy in the crowd who did a loud "Woooooo!" after Hayes said "Five of them are dead".

The reason is simple, the war on drug is over we already won.

I rolled my eyes at it. Given the recent scandals, it's kind of hypocritical for the WWE to be pushing the "Say No To Drugs!" line, and to be distancing themselves from the excesses of the 80s. Are wrestlers still doing lines of coke off naked hookers? Probably not. Are drugs still present in the sport? Of course!
I have to admit that the talk about the von Erichs made me worry about Rey. I'm not sure if he is in fit condition to be wrestling from certain unreliable rumors I've heard.

I love how the WWE tries to do some say no to drugs stuff, and they get criticised. Yet whenever anyone dies that might be drug related, the WWE gets criticised for not trying to stop it.
It was a way to try and sale the dvd plus a public service announcement for the kids that watch Smackdown.
It's a good message. Some people obviously need to listen.

In all honesty, I'd rather be told to "just say no" than to be preached to like in those retarded "Truth" commercials Hey, smurf you
