Wasn't he the General Manager and Vickie the Assistant General Manager? How did their roles become switch?

Sounds like a porno, based on Baseball. But yeah, that confused me too. Vickie did nothing to become the GM.

I'm guessing that since Vickie was named the GM after Teddy's heart attack, Teddy became the Assistant GM upon return. Basically, Vickie's promotion led to Teddy getting a demotion

He must have been watching ROH in hospital, telling Edge to "Man Up" and all.

That's like being in hospital for a couple of weeks, returning to work only to find out that someone has taken your position.

I'd have the right to put in a complaint if I took time off ill, and find that the person who filled in for me got to keep my job.

When did Teddy Long get demoted? I don't remember them saying anything about him being Assistant General Manager.

Therefore, it entirely plausible to believe that WWE has a pre-established bylaw that says that if a authority figure is inactive for a certain amount of time, his/her replacement becomes their successor.

On another note, what happened to Armondo Estrada? When did we last see him on ECW?

He was on WWE Mobile after the show making a match for Armageddon. Don't know the last time he was on TV, though.
