Having seen Super Crazy and Santino on the 9 December edition of heat (available on youtube here.) I get the impression that the crowd was more into this match than the Santino/Jericho match that we've talked about. I know myself I loved the match, especially Santino's "one man marching band" routine at the end of the match. So I honestly think that Crazy/Santino was > than Jericho/Santino. The crowd seemed to back me up on this too. What do you guys think?

Santino/Jericho was like three and a half minutes and Crazy/Santino was like..eleven or so? Kind of hard to compare.

Plus this was a Heat match that's taped before Raw when the crowd is just getting there and super psyched. Sometimes the biggest pops are on Heat.

I remember watching matches where the Highlanders would come out to these deafening superstar level pops, yet the entire crowd was just sitting on their hands.

I've been to a couple live tapings (granted, back in 2001 when people cared about the low-to-midcard) and the first match featuring recognizable wrestlers always got huge pops. The old Blackman/Sexay tag team got a huge pop in Boston. But even the Velocity ones I saw in 2004 and 2005 garnered some good heat from the live crowd.

Santino/Crazy was ok. Santino's new finisher was weak though and the commentary was f***ing horrible.
