There was a match from a house show I saw that was Rick Rude vs Jake Roberts in a Rude Awakening vs DDT match. The only way to win was by hitting your finisher and getting the pin. All other pins didn't count.

That guy screwed himself. They just wanted the name and offered him a good amount of money. But he thought he was good enough to be in WWE. Was he surprised by being released? Vince wants people to seize the brass ring and fight to get an opportunity, so as much much as people like to mock the guy for taking the smaller payday, it's hard to blame him for taking a chance to get a foot in the door. The aim of every indy performer should be to get on the WWE's radar if they're serious about making money. 100% agree. But becoming good enough to get noticed and being selected is gonna do more for you than trying to strongarm your way in.

The indy guy screwed over the most by WWE will be that Last Outlaw guy they signed just to take his name as yet another nickname for the Undertaker. That guy screwed himself. They just wanted the name and offered him a good amount of money. But he thought he was good enough to be in WWE. Was he surprised by being released?

Speaking of wrestlers, form what I understand, they had several pro wrestlers take part in events promoting the game (I know at least some of them are from DDT Pro Wrestling). Does that mean this one will finally have some officially licensed real-life wrestlers in there? They did the same thing with Mad Man Pondo and Too Tough Tony for FPR Returns. So I wouldn't hold out too much hope for that.

Was just thinking about the piper/Lawler match (yes my head hurts) so who was the kid piper and Lawler used in that match? What became of him? Prichard talked about him on one of his podcasts. I remember no details. But your answer is out there It was on the Roddy Piper episode itself

After that he managed as Pat The Brat Piper in New England and the surrounding areas. He actually managed a young version of The Highlanders on the indy circuit. He doesn't do anything in wrestling as of right now but he lives in New England still.

Sheamus had just pulled the tights right before the counter. Seems more like what goes around comes around not really Cesaro needing to cheat.

Jim Cornette said that after Dennis left the Midnight Express the original replacement wasn't Stan Lane but actually Tim Horner. But as things happened Stan Lane came in as Sweet Stan and the world was robbed of a Terrific Tim and Beautiful Bobby pairing.

I've actually been going back and watching a lot from 1988 and 89, and honestly those saying Big John couldn't work anymore aren't entirely right. If nothing else he was really pushing himself more. He was arm dragging and suplexing and I even saw him do a Kowalski Roll. So he was really putting forth the effort during his comeback at the very least.

The Rockers vs the Rougeau Brothers from London, England. Not only one of my favorite tag matches but one of my favorite matches in general. The story telling through out the entire match is just perfect www.dailymotion.com/video/x32d1t8

Flair wins, Hogan and Sid square off in the ring: "Well, they're definitely having a match at Wrestlemania." ( You'd have thought so, son. You'd have thought so...) But they did have a match at WM

Not yet. The closest would probably be Andres team in 1988. Andre, Dino Bravo, Perfect, Rude. Only Harley Race is still around. Also The Ultimate Warriors from 1990 have one survivor in Animal.

Come on Hulk. If you want to drop the N word in WWE you have to be training people at NXT or the writer for Smackdown

Al Snow: Again with the sweatpants? Tommy Dreamer: What? I'm comfortable. Al: You know the message you're sending out to the world with these sweatpants? You're telling the world, 'I give up. I can't compete in normal society. I'm miserable, so I might as well be comfortable.

Jeff Hardy: I'm the bad boy. I've never been the bad boy. AJ Styles: You've been the bad employee, the bad son, the bad friend. Jeff: Yes. Yes, yes. AJ: The bad fiance, the bad dinner guest, the bad credit risk. Jeff: Okay, the point is made. AJ: The bad date, the bad sport, the bad citizen. The bad tipper!
