And now Meltzer's word on the "confirmed rumors" of AJ's imminent departure.
From the 11/24 Observer -
Whether that swings the odds for worse or better on her continued career I couldn't say, but somebody in WWE is raring for AJ to go.

Sorry to see Dolph lost his title tonight; I always liked him and I'll miss him in WWE. I especially loved the time he wrestled Kofi Kingston. AAAAAAAND, I'm soooooo sick and tired of hearing CM Punk chants. Not her fault, but idiotic fans are ruining it. Are you joshing? Those chants won't ever stop, they'll just relegate to another segment.

As AJ was initially given the title to punish CM Punk he and WWE must be getting along significantly better now that it's being taken away.

It's all relative, different strokes for different folks. I like how an AJ that's a few degrees above detestable is asking for the moon and all the stars. Did anyone think to check the manual? I'm guessing there's a setting between "absolute douche-nozzle" and "total betrayal of her character" somewhere. Maybe on Smackdown a happy medium can be found?

I thought they were going that way from her return promo, but they took a hard left into "Frenemies" and skipped from there.
AJ should not have won the title back from Paige her first night back in. Yeah, symmetry in their losses and underestimating your opponent and that's all cool. But a build-up would have done them both some serious good, particularly in generating some empathy again for AJ. Instead she picked up where she left off so every wrong she's done is kept in tally, and what all else she may do - considerable, as her character in AJ's own words normally acts "like a douche" - is added to the scales.
She digs on Eddie Guerrero's face/heel dynamic and wants to emulate his style, not eschewing what originally made her so engaging. So unless pushed, I think AJ's positioned exactly how she wants where she doesn't really change that much of her ways to be booed or cheered. She just hasn't given much reason for the latter.

Nikki Bella attacked AJ during a promo backstage with Brie.
Summer Rae defeated Natalya.

Seems Ryback defeated Cesaro & Adam Rose lost to R-Truth. Rose beat up The Bunny afterwards.
Christian's Peep Show w/ Ambrose & Wyatt on now.

AJ could have shown a bit of humility and vulnerability and it would have done wonders for her. She could have toned down the dickishness...she didn't. AJ's good by virtue of someone being worse. There's never been a watershed moment where AJ came to the realization that she was wrong in alienating her friends and co-workers for her behavior after being used as a scapegoat for "eighteen seconds". Though I'll argue she's better now than when she was churlishly mocking them during her time as GM. She hasn't once expressed any form of contrition for past misdeeds and is just an awful, shrewish person in kayfabe. What drives AJ as a heel staggers her as a face. So while I still like her, I do wish she'd evolve and get why some feel any blowback she gets is restitution for debts owed.

Big Show's WMD has an exemplary track record, being kicked out of less often than the Dudleys' 3D.
Justin Gabriel's 450 splash was sold as a killer back in the day. If I recall right he's even beaten Cena cleanly with it.

I don't know. I get a strange vibe about his character. He's a huge psychotic man who will rip your throat out if you make him angry, but he also has sort of a children's mentality when he wears his mask and speaks softly. Sort of like Mankind was if that makes any sense at all. It does. I got the same notion during Kane and Rowan's interplay last Smackdown too.

I get that they were going for "SHE'S CRAZY! SHE REACTED TO THE SLAP WITHOUT THINKING CUZ SHE'S CRAZY!", but it made her come across like an idiot as, not only did the announcers point it out, but she herself immediately realized that Nikki was the real culprit for it and went after her. I don't see how it comes off that way unless one's predisposed to to dislike the character. I won't shed a tear if Nikki's the next champ, but AJ was struck by her lackey. Indentured bitch or not, Brie's going to pay the price per WWE's way. I don't think the idea that AJ walloped Brie because "She's crazy!" was even pushed here.

Why is Paige's logo a rat? It's a kitty. I gotcha. Thought the open mouth was a mouse's nose.

I'd like Sweet Saraya to arrive, bump off a hair whip from Eva Marie and disappear forever by this point. The amount of build she gets is insane and she's used as a crutch in lieu of finding something interesting for Paige herself to do. Wrestling fans want talented wrestler to join the WWE! Whatever next! I'm as shocked as you are. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't perceived that the ONE way Paige can be relevant is feud with her mom... again. I know we're cycling through the same formula between Paige & AJ of late, but it's always the one be-all, end-all fantasy booking scenario for her. I'd like her to succeed by her own merits without falling back on Saraya, talented as she may be.
