There's been subtle things, and things off air..
But it's not like back in the day with WCW.

If Jericho snaps... we need him to lose to Alex Wright first again. It would feel so wright.
But this is what a great heel run does.. the character becomes so good, so entertaining that the face turn is inevitable.. and the tease to the turn is usually the best part of it.

Off topic. What is a Ring rat? Ring rat is to wrestler as groupie is to rock star.

Summer Slam where he came back to face Micahels.. had he just hung it up after that great title run prior... I'd probably have no complaints about Hogan. However, ever since then, my respect for him has plummeted with Hogan Knows Best, still wanting to win scripted matches and it seems he's going to kill TNA...

Unions eat at bottom lines for operating expenses. There's more of a "standard" wage for workers, and they would be able to negotiate things like health cares, retirement plans, continuing education, etc. benefits. The problem why no big name is ever going to sign onto this idea is because unions are designed to protect the masses of employees stuck in the bottom/middle. Not the big guys.
The fact SAG won't allow WWE guys to join is unfair, as they are pretty much actors. If they ever let in the WWE guys, that's your best bet at a "pro-wrestling" union.

Those arguing for Cena to get a heel turn ALA Hogan have to remember WCW at the time was loaded with guys who could carry the company as faces. Savage, Flair, Luger, Sting, and the Giant. Plus it was WCW.. the heel was always important to their show, just like the NWA.
Times are much different..

The only ways you're going to get back the older crowd is put a heavier emphasis on wrestling again OR go completely wild like the Attitude era.
PG is the right business for WWE in this MMA world.

Its amazing to me that as limited as Hulk's skillset seems to be, he's as broken down as he is. Really makes me worried for some of these other folks that fly off the ropes. Also, Kurt Angle. Wrestling's a lot more punishing than it looks, IMO. Hogan's finisher also involved him compacting his spine by landing on his ass. I don't know if you've ever fallen hard with your ass taking the brunt of the blow... this sounds so homosexual in nature up to this point... But it compacts your spine and really hurts your lower back.

I want Heyman in there as a manager. I also want Fonzie, Sabu, Raven, Dreamer...
Yes. I just want ECW recreated so I can mark for a few weeks... and never watch wrestling again when I get bored.

Maybe the quality of wrestlers just does get worse with every generation... And internet nerds are right that Cena sucks, and every WWE champion before him was better.
*cue me trying not to laugh*

To me, this sucks cause I actually watched it more on Monday.. but apparently I was in the minority. However, for the long term viability of TNA, this is probably for the best.

No no no.
I'm sure it's been said but I'm a little on the non-SES side right now... Goldberg vs Hogan was a desperation move in reaching grasps of the original war. To win one night.
Van Dam clearly was along the lines of the Lex Luger anything can happen mentality,

Yes. You bring in a guy and pay him probably 500k a year to just be in tag matches...
No you bring him in to be part of the face of your company. TNA now has three WWE World Champions from the last 4 years. These aren't irrelevant wrestlers in the business, these guys are still among the best and most popular wrestlers. You have Angle, Jeff Hardy and RVD... you want to build the main event. You build it with those three in the World Title picture because people give a Van Dam about them.. and you let guys like AJ work heel where there's no way in the world he'll get cheered over a guy like RVD or Hardy if he works heel.
TNA now has two big PPV main events if they don't hot shot them... Angle vs RVD and RVD vs Hardy, not to mention your homegrown guys in Desmond, Styles, Joe and Pope. You want TNA to do ratings and compete.. you bring out the big guns and you feature them. Let AJ feud with RVD up until the PPV, lose to RVD, then Hardy gets his shot... then you go a 3 way dance between them... then Angle comes back.
Plus don't forget Sting vs RVD will probably be a nice little side-feud for RVD.

^slow down high speed. Internet news is still internet news. Lets wait and see. I would welcome him and feel he'd be a great addition to the line up Agreed. However, put him in his old talent recruitment role and let him develop the next crop of stars in pro-wrestling. He did pretty decent for WWE.. or amazing.

Tenay was never designed to be a PBP guy. He was great as the third man in the booth when he first came to WCW. The guy with all the knowledge and chimed in once in awhile.. however, he never has any sort of emotion and you feel like he's reading off a script.

Who cares..
I got Styles vs Van Dam for free. It was a shorter match than what we'll get at the PPV, but I got to see a match I really wanted for free.
