Been a while, here's my random food talk.

Thanks to a VTuber, I found out that corned beef is different in the West. Like from there, it looks like spam where you gotta slice it. Here it's shredded. Makes for a great meal. Cook some garlic then onions then add the canned corned beef. Diced potatoes and other veggies optional. Great meal on rice, even as a sandwich.

And here's the VTuber that I mentioned. Very fun to see the chat play the annoying fool and Millie being the straight man and yelling at them.

Never understood why having hairy legs is bad. Can't grow a beard fast enough, and frankly as cool it is to get one getting my moustache too long (which takes a long time) gets in the way of eating for me. I don't want sauce and stuff on my face, and the hairs can touch my lips and go in my mouth. Also gross. Hair beloq my knees though. I like it, and it's the least sweaty part where hair is. so also good.

So far, a few brief power outages, but nothing too bad. Just a bit of extra wind. Helps that the area I'm in is somewhat elevated so flooding is unlikely.

And that burger I got from a relative, despite reheating it on a microwave hits so good. Bun is a large pandesal. Flame grilled burger from the taste of it, meaty and lots of it. Mushrooms and melted cheese, still gooey even with a microwave. Good mayo under the burger. No veggies. Plain but every ingredient works its job well. And it's a big burger, so I'm still loaded hours later.

Honestly, doubt there will be too much trouble in my end. Had super typhoons come before, and yes super typhoons is a term when it really gets bad... but honestly terrain wise at most I'll expect power outages and maybe just a bit of water going in through the doors, far better than coastal regions here.

Hell, just got a package from a relative close by with food I just need to heat. Burgers, hotdogs, the baked spaghetti I love, big slice of chocolate cake and scones. Won't need to cook tonight, just heat on the pan. Though, personally I don't like the spaghetti being heated. Hotdogs on it, banana ketchup, and a layer of cheese on top of it all. Far better cool for me. Another New Year dish I look forward to all year. Eat it fresh as the New Year starts, then get given the leftovers on the day. Delicious.

And really, thing I do here and there, I really kinda want to be at the roof of my house (flat roof, essentially a third floor) during the heaviest of the storm and let the wind and rain go down on me. Cold, strong, and noisy as hell. Done it here and there since high school. Just... oddly calming and safe for me.

I stand by my belief that my country's cheesy eggdesal with either ham or sausage is superior, even facing a McMuffin with two sausages. All in the bread. Always soft bread over a 50/50 chance (and at this point I'm being generous over that odds) of a McMuffin that's either okay or sad staleness.

Since everyone mentioned dreams involving wrestling, here's mine. Fresh, just yesterday, my first one, or the first one I bothered to remember because I thought of this place.

I was back at work. Night shifts in the office. Lots of people I know, and somehow there's also John Cena and Triple H. Time for a meal. For some reason everyone just sat on the floor in circles eating. I'm about to walk to a circle and John Cena grabs me by the leg. I'm not even sure what happens or if he's talking, but I recall mentioning to him having chicharon on my bag. I go there and find the pack of chicharon empty.

At this point I wake up, or think I wake up, half wondering on how that didn't make a lick of sense. And I fall back asleep moving into a next series of weird ass dreams.

Since this recent talk started I think with Wendy's, I feel this is appropriate.

No lie, born and live here, I'd say quality has gone down. Starters, original flavor chicken is never crispy. I like the gravy better than Jolibee, but nowadays they don't give you it unlimited. Gone are tbe days when you drown the rice in it.

And the Zinger. Was a good chicken sandwich. Spicy, had enough mayo to balance the taste. Mentioned it before, but the bun they use now is so damn stale. Can buy a stack of sliced bread on a 711 and improve the texture.
