No SmashBurger here, but I read about the idea and made some myself. So good. Cliche as it seems, ate it with rice and it's still good. Salt, pepper, ground beef and the right amount of fat for the salt and pepper.
All I need is salt and meat, plus a ton of rice. Maybe cheese. veg, or extra seasonings. All those just extras, really.

As a vegetarian, I feel slighted at being unable to participate in the fast food chicken convo. I'm angrily calling you all out in the next media scrum. I'd bite you all too, but I'm only allowed to eat vegan human flesh substitutes. Bean sprouts, chili, butter, garlic. That is amazing. Or mushrooms, soy sauce, garlic, chili. You can't go wrong with garlic, unless it's too little garlic. If I'm cooking and use garlic, one whole bulb is the minimum. Smash all that on a mortar and pestle, no chopping required.

Jokingly, I say a porn vid, but the bootleg sellers don't care about age.
I suppose the first thing I bought as an adult was a fancy meal for myself. And by that I mean I massive burger, like it had lamb meat and blue cheese and a rare steak. I ain't asking my mom to shill out the cash for that as a kid. Too much in the end.
All in all, now actually buy games from Steam. Before Steam, before years before that like PS1 and 2 era where I was underage, pirated games were big here. PS1 games less than a dollar, then PS2 games less than 2. Once you got fast internet PSP games cost far less. No more downloading from iffy sites now.
Physical things, I just don't like. So stuff like posters and figurines, and anything that clogs up my room I can't stand.

There's a place here as well called Army Navy, they got a really nice chicken sandwich. Crispy chicken chipotle sandwich is what it's called. Got crispy onion rings under the bun. Tasty.

BonChon is the best fried chicken. I prefer their fish platter more. Fish fillet, tempura, and calmares. The spicy sauce version. They also got a good hotdog. Got spicy mayo on it and the hotdog is coated in a crispy batter thing.

Yeah, I mean, it IS the bigger story, but there’s also less to actually joke about. Like, on one hand you have the institutionalised abuse of a corporate power structure, and on the other you have someone cracking the shits while eating a muffin before he starts a fistfight with his bosses when they come for a “please explain”. And there’s a dog involved, but he’s not the one doing any biting. The stakes are really low for this conflict and there's enough actual absurdity here that there's fertile ground. All of Vince's absurdity, by contrast, kind of looks different in light of recent events and "Crazy Old Vince" stories kind of read different when you see what he's done with the people who work for him. It's just not a good time. Which isn't to say there weren't jokes made about the plan of succession or anything, but it's. Different. It's not the giant clusterf*** of laughter that this is. There's also that bit where notifications went nuts and just didn't work. Just led to a perfect storm where things just went silly. And there's the sudden-ness of it. Vince news, you kinda heard the scandals and there's always the topic on when he'd retire and such. So many times and so many people expressed a want for Vince to retire. News on the sexual harassment brought more calling for him to leave, and when it came you expected it from the news that came. Here you got Punk going off, and things snowballed from all the other add ons. Eating muffins, alleging falsely that the Bucks superkicked a door, chair thrown, having a bit of Kenny steak, dog being saved. So much out there things, as a single entry it won't affect much, but there's so much you feel you're in a crazy zone and somehow it's real. Like in way... Vince stepping down was part of business, but here it's just a collision and then the car just exploded.

Had bicol express today, cooked at home. So good. It's essentially pork belly slice up into small chunks cooked in coconut milk. And a ton of chili.
Boil the pork in just the right amount of water. Boil it all the way. Set it aside. The most basic is this after; cook your garlic, then add the onions and a bit of chili, and by a bit the right amount that'll burn you inside. Add your pork in again, then add the shrimp paste. That's where you add the saltiness in. Once cooked, you pour in your coconut milk.
Since I live where those are available, I'm going with fresh coconut milk all the way, taken from the coconut. Not canned. Not powdered. Always feel the processed stuff is too watery, and of course the added stuff to keep it preserved makes the coco milk texture being wrong.
You gotta bring it to a boil, and coconut milk will clump up easy enough so you gotta constantly stir until it boils and the oils from the coconut separate.
Then, keep it simmering until most of the liquid boils out. Like curry, it isn't broth. Like sarsa, or gravy or sauce. Like, if you pour the sarsa on top of your rice, it's broth if it sinks to the bottom of your rice, is how I feel it should be.
And of course, the rice. Not a lot of Filipino meals where the rice is left out. Hot, fresh, white rice. Pour that bicol express on top. And eat. Meat's tender and soaks up all the flavor. Everything feels creamy and kinda sweet, then you get hit by all that heat. Hot day, rainy day, doesn't matter. So satisfying.

As an aside, my favorite go-to is Bicol Express (wife's a Bicolano to be more specific so you know), it's legit the only way they can entice me to go to those ridiculous Christmas Eve/Day parties at midnight lmao. Had a craving for it, so today cooked some with my mom. Bicol Express, just after pouring the coconut milk. Gotta stir it slowly as the milk begins to boil otherwise it'll form clumps and all that. And ta dah. Gotta let the coconut milk boil out. Less brothy, more thick sauce-y goodness. So spicy, so tasty.

Can bend my thumbs back to touch my wrist. Can also turn my wrists 360 degrees. And also got ankylosing spondylitis. Spine is slowly fusing together into one bamboo like bone which will lead into flexibility problems. Honestly at this point spine has fused. My back and shoulder is hunched forward. Sleep isn't easy, though at least now compared to years ago I won't get these cramps around my spine that seriously hurts. Aside from that, already got arthritis. Joints hurt. One leg is thinner than the other for years now because I can't exert as much force on it compared to the other. Knees had swollen a few times and got drained out. Color of the liquid was yellow. Happened to the ankles as well, and I used that as an excuse to not wear shoes as much as possible. Had surgery, piece of spine was removed. Helped a bit, though couldn't really stop the spine from fusing and everything else. Aside from that, apparently there's other side-effects from the condition that might happen in the future. Had a few episodes where I've had problems with my eye. That's what Mick Mars has, he's spoken about it a little. He's basically a statue. He had some hip replacement that helped somewhat, but yeah, moving really, really sucks for him. Sorry to hear about your condition. I relate a lot on one of his comments about it. More or less, makes it easier to look at his guitar. My own neck has curved downward. Like, if I got a hat on I gotta be careful as walking around I can bump my head because there's a blind spot unless I make an effort to lift my head a bit. Bumped into so many branches when walking my dog even now. Driving or being in a car isn't fun. Gotta have extra pillows to keep my head upright to watch the road. Mobility isn't fun at all, yet gotta do it anyway 'cause there's stuff to do. And honestly, led to me not really liking how I see in the mirror sometimes. Had a few passers-by say some unkind things to me when I'm just walking around. It sucks.

469? More food. Prepped bagoong alamang. So, bagoong is shrimp or fish paste, but alamang is shrimp, in particular the small ones. Just put salt in those, seal it and let it sit. Bam, you got your shrimp paste. Ingredient or condiment. Once you've let it sit out, you can cook it with garlic and chili to make it last longer.
One thing I love is just putting it on top of a bowl of freshly cooked rice. Crack a raw egg on top of it, and mix. Let the heat of the rice cook the egg. Good enough as it is, but having a salted dried fish to eat alongside it is so good.

Glad to see at least some people are rolling their eyes at the "I threw that chair to protect my wife" because nah, the way you protect your wife is that before the fight starts, you get your wife out of there. Or, y'know, phyusically put yourself between her and the stuff and don't engage in any fighting. It sounds like Punk didn't leave them the time for that, but that's something he should take up with Punk. He won't, probably, because it feels like calling Punk out is a good way to end up getting shit all over and he's already just giving up everything for Punk. Based on what we know at least, that excuse falls flat when a guy tries to get a dog out there to protect said dog. Falls flatter when you bite the guy doing that.

And not even gonna lie. So many words I didn't even understand on RPGs. Strengh, speed, life points... that's probably it. FF7, what even is dexterity? Like Dexter's Lab? ...like that.
Of course, now's different obviously. But gotta say that playing the first time not understanding some basics and then many years later knowing them is part of my enjoyment. Finished 3 knowing the bare basics then doing 2 on an emulator years later knowing AND understanding more is a great experience for me.

One of the bigger flaws I feel is that you can't run in 1, unless you have a party member with a rune that lets you do so. Just made the game slower or you give one of your team to give you that. Yeah, that's a bit annoying, though 1 is kind of short as it is if you know what you're doing, so being able to easily run might just kind of make it feel shorter still. If I play it again, that might be how I feel about it. Mentioned before playing FF7 on the PS1 I didn't grasp the English language at some things. That, and when compared to 2 that 1 is a bit more clunky, that 1 felt more slow to me. That said, 3 also felt slow, but it was due to having to deal with 3 POVs. Geddou first, Hugo, then Chris. You want one line done, but if you go all the way then you're ending up going back to easier times with the other two. You end up trying to balance and it's just not fun. Post game is just bleh. That said, manga for 3 is good. Great adaptation, much like Breath of Fire IV.

Very much welcome. Also, appreciated given, I do like Suikoden 1, but BOY, is it much uglier than 2, going back. A bit of a face lift isn't a bad thing. One of the bigger flaws I feel is that you can't run in 1, unless you have a party member with a rune that lets you do so. Just made the game slower or you give one of your team to give you that.

Oh yeah. 2's good, but I only got to play 1 a bit later, lent from a friend of my sibling, just when I was getting used to RPGs in general. Finished it without getting all characters, and if I get the chance again I wanna complete that. Also, little thing I found out at least a decade later about 2, {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Rowd, the captain that sold you out in 2, apparently did so to get money to help cure his younger sister, which you meet as a faceless NPC in the home town of the main character. In the end, he runs off in the end game but ultimately doesn't cure her.
