If Clark had been able to keep up his work after he came back from injury, and hadn't turned out to be a giant sex creep, dude absolutely would have been a big name for the company. Triple H loved him, he was plenty over, and he seemed talented enough to be a huge deal one day. Then he seemed to have run out of steam idea-wise, ran out of steam in-ring after injury, and turned out to be a giant sex creep. But there's definitely a world where he doesn't pull what he pulled, keeps up with it, and right now he's poised for big things. Is that the timeline where CM Punk eats muffins in silence and Ace Steel announces he's a vegetarian? Tempting timeline, yet at the same time you'd worry on who did something insane on said timeline... |

I listen to Cornettes Podcast sometimes, you just have to understand when he talks about older stuff he's great newer stuff not so much. Unfortunate thing is that old stuff remains old, and new stuff... well, day by day more and more new stuff appears. |

I think my favorite Cornette thread was the one where the guy thought that because we disagreed with Corny's wrestling views and thought he was an out of touch racist that we wanted him to die. Great times Also some corn bread muffins sound outstanding right now with some brisket No lie, I'd want some Kenny Rogers corn muffins right now. On the other hand, the chicken is so dang expensive for what you get. Like, you want roast chicken here, you're better off getting a whole one from Andoks, Baliwag, or Chooks. You even get sarsa, that's Philippine gravy. Chickens from those three places are so good. Still want corn muffins. With rice, and of course chicken. Starch on starch, Asian way. |

Hey now, Tony Atlas actually admitted he was wrong and apologized to Punk. Punk doesn't strike me as the type of guy who sees himself making mistakes. Hopefully he'll mature someday, but he's built up this image in his own mind that I doubt he'll ever be humbled. I think the only way it would ever happen would be if the wrestling industry blackballed him, but that's not going to happen. He otherwise doesn't have many other outlets to go to where he hasn't burned those bridges or he's proven he isn't competent enough to succeed in. I feel like part of his issue is that such a humbling isn't super likely to come professionally. Even if AEW fires him, WWE would be interested to an extent, certainly, even if he probably would want more than they'd likely offer him. And if neither want him, he could probably have a successful podcast pretty easily. I don't like the guy, but he can certainly talk. He'd certainly have a market in the ASMR community. Sounds of him chewing on muffins while talking to the listeners. |

Over the years, I don't like the guy... Hulk Hogan. Punk made a splash back then, but he isn't Hogan. Didn't even make the moves to become one. From what J've seem just tried to speed run into a role like that, and for most part just ended up overshadowed by muffins and Ace Steel biting by whatever he wanted to do.
Guy let his rep from years back to tell him who he is, but the years passed by. Got over a 100 back then, expected that and more on coming back after years of people fluffing him up. Didn't get it, unfortunately for him,

Until the scrum, felt okay with him, then he had, and I realize my cruelty with my words but to hell with it, he just exposed his z-packed ass. You mention a guy not involved in current storylines and his mother?
