I mean in reality if you are an executive, you shouldn't be running into a mans locker room to pick a fight with him... Tossing a chair at someone's face and biting another isn't really good either. EVP or not. |

So... anyone play Darkest Dungeon? It's a roguelike. You manage a party of 4 to traverse areas to more or less try to save a place. Going to the areas, the party can get stressed out, and even with a good run party members can get positive or negative traits that can affect how they perform. Some positive and negative traits can affect the rest of the party. In times of great stress, either the stressed party member can be locked into a good status helping everyone, or it can spiral down with a negative status effect which can domino effect in stressing the rest of the party. Negative effects can last past that expedition, so you're gonna deal with it for quite a while. Gonna have to make choices. Can you help the problematic member of the party and risk long term problems and shouldering the cost, or cut ties and just let someone else less problematic and build them up? I gave up on it after i lost my save for the 4th or 5th time. The real horror During the PS1 era I've had a lot of faulty memory cards. Like after my first probably authentic one I got by with cheap ones sold along with those pirated PS1 games. Gotta have a backup for those Monster Rancher games. |

And, thinking about it, if I was Punk... even in an event where there was punching involved, am I gonna condone someone throwing a chair at one guy and biting someone? I had an argument and a friend just bit someone. You better go through walking out if that friend is fired, otherwise you're... I'm still stuck enjoying the Brigandine sequel. and yes i know you were making a Punk analogy just thought you would have played it anyway though I'm half-torn wanting to play it or watching VTubers play it. Looks good, really. I'm just... really slow when it comes to playing latest games I could play. Hell, once got a Discworld novel and let it sit for months because I wanted the perfect time to read it. |

You know what anime needs? An isekai anime where an unpopular nerdy high school girl who's a hardcore wrestling otaku gets transported to another world where pro-wrestling is everything and she is reincarnated in that world as the greatest wrestler of all time. You just said you'll read everything, so there you go. Not gonna lie, I'd watch the shit out of that isekai. And I don't particularly like isekais. We really do need a pro-wrestling anime. Ultimate Muscle, Tiger Mask. Not much else that stands out. |

I've greatly enjoyed Punk's run in AEW. It's honestly been better than I could have imagined it'd be after so long away from wrestling. I wouldn't lose any sleep over him leaving AEW at this point, though. AEW is big enough, has enough money etc that no one wrestler is gonna kill the company. Losing anyone that is mainevent level would hurt them but it wouldn't kill them or the show. They basically have done the last year without Omega, Moxley missed a big chunk, Punk missed a big chunk, MJF as well and they still were fine. Omega and Moxley didn't return that led to... *gestures the whole thread* MJF one could make an argument of, but so far (at least) probably won't lead to biting backstage. Like Punk on the night of becoming champion led to all this. So far, that's at his worst. Should a company even bother risking to wait and see if he can get even worse? |

Someone should set up a tournament in the forum games section. Some sort of song, video game/anime/tv/anything theme tournament to see what would work well as a wrestling theme. I can try doing it after I get home If it's gonna be a FAN Idol style game sign me up. Hell, sign me up either way. |

BTW since we're pivoting towards Anime/Video Game music that would make good entrance themes: My current pick is Libera Me From Hell from Gurren Lagann, epic theme and during PPV entrances I'd get an actual Opera singer to accompany the wrestler on their way to the ring. I'd like to nominate Get Wild as a entrance theme. Someone should set up a tournament in the forum games section.
