Only real question is where this leaves AEW's relationship with TJPW and the politics involved with potential partnerships with both. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and we won't get a "CMLL is being petty as f***" situation with either. Takagi recently said he doesn't foresee TJPW and Stardom ever working together or getting on the same page. In the past for things shows like Assemble (a show alliance of joshi promotions working together, some even on rough terms), TJPW isn't a part of it and they also didn't participate in the recent Korakuen anniversary show. That said I don't think they'd exercise any politics or talent-pulling hijinks--they could just not have their talent wrestle Stardom's, not be on the same show as any, or maybe just treat the situation differently since it'd be an AEW-run show and not care. DDT/TJPW can be pretty lax with a lot of stuff like that. While I don't exactly see super involved/long Stardom stuff with AEW because of how they use their roster and schedule, the "talks" almost certainly are about Stardom wanting to use Toni. Rossy loves her and she is one of the rumored names for KAIRI's mystery tag partner (I think it's someone like Nanae though). Obviously it'd be about what can be done for AEW too in that regard. Stardom does interestingly have two new "brands"--New Blood, a free YouTube show that is centered around featuring young talent from Stardom and other promotions, and Show Case--which while nobody knows exactly what it is, is very much likely a show based around gimmick matches. I think the former would be a decent fit. That and obviously the SWA title, which has to be defended against other nationalities/heritages (a recent loophole allowed for aliens).

RIP. Obviously Godfather on top of so many great roles, but shoutout to him in Thief where he puts on a clinic performance.

Rosa says if Miyu Yamashita can beat her on Saturday in TJPW, she'll give her a title shot in AEW.

The Korakuen Hall shows on September 5th, 6th are 50% capped so it can have seating where it's OK to cheer.

Some interesting notes from that presser that the global Twitter account has all in more detail:
Seems like they want to focus more on allowing wrestlers to enter the company easily in their youth (like after college), STARDOM talent will be appearing on NJPW of America shows, UK show in October, the November NJPWxSTARDOM show will have a couple mixed tag matches, but they won't have intergender (as in once a guy tags in the other guy has to, etc.), Tanahashi will be the face of NJPW's official protein lineup lol, there'll be an NJPW music festival in the fall.

AJPW's Triple Crown champ Jake Lee says if he beats Suwama he might skip the Royal Road tournament and wrestle in NJPW like Tanahashi told him to.

I think most NJPW fans would agree that adopting Goto's strategy for winning isn't a great plan to win a title.

Willow Nightingale is unfortunately off the show due to visa complications, so Miu Watanabe's new opponent is now Ryo Mizunami. Really unfortunate, though Ryo's a lot of fun, too. I'm still really glad she changed her mind on retiring. Definitely! Willow would have been great for international interaction but Ryo has been a monster since her AEW run imo and she’s going to be in front of a Japanese audience allowed to cheer so that’s a good last minute pinch hitter.

Can you imagine the defenses played against a Westbrook/Simmons duo?

A feud for the new title with PAC would be great for Takeshita.

So the blocks for the 5 Star are out:
I imagine the Final is Tam vs. Giulia.
It will be interesting to see how they handle Suzu and Giulia. I imagine they want to do a bigger match so maybe Suzu wins to set that up.
Very happy to see SAKI in it. Super underrated imo.

If she left, and she actually went back to Stardom, it’d be interesting because she would probably be able to do something more consistent than KAIRI’s deal. Rossy would obviously push her as a monster but she could put over quite a few stars there. Selfishly I’d prefer big time freelancer in Japan though lol

I am hoping he can be that 20 and 7 guy and not be a 15 and 5 guy That's a shit ton of money to pay to a guy who was a role player but f*** it, welcome him to NY with open arms until he start playing like ass cheeks and NY fans start calling for his head As a Mavs fan I don’t think Brunson is that guy, but Knicks are craving someone they can rely on for consistent scoring. I think he can do that but to justify that contract he’s gotta be more of a playmaker imo
