Do I start the new thread tomorrow, or should I allow Widow's Peak to start Thread 2?

Okay, without further ado, it is now time to determine out top four: This round was all about second chances and first impressions. Your challenge was to not only find a second great song by a previously used artist, but to find a great song that your opponents haven't even thought of. Some of you succeeded, and some of you not as successful. One of you crushed the competition this round, while one of you has to slink into the sunset. The top scoring song in the First Impressions Category was "Smooth Criminal" - Michael Jackson (2+3+1+2+1= 9). The person who was smart enough to pick one of MJ's most popular tunes also chose "Baba O'Riley" - The Who as his 2nd chance pick. While this song had three 1st place rankings, it was also ranked last by 2 judges (really? REALLY?). But the combined scores were still enough to give you a composite score of 22 and first place in this round. This first member of our Top 4 is: {Spoiler}Pegasuswarrior! The host of the last WC Idol looks like the man to beat in this one! Excellent selections! Coming in at 27pts is our second place finisher. He chose the top ranked 2nd Chance song with "DVNO" – Justice (2+1+2+2+3=10). His 1st impressions pick, "Knights of Cydonia" (Muse: 1+4+4+5+3=17) was also well received by most judges. The second member of our Top 4 is: {Spoiler}Michael Hayden: Number Dos! DVNO may be the sleeper song of the competition. Excellent work this round. Our Number 3 entrant into the Top 4 is just behind with 28 pts. He chose two vastly different songs in Fleetwood Mac – Dreams (3+4+3+3+2=15) and Notorious BIG - Juicy (3+2+3+1+4=13). This solid competitor who joins our Top 4 is: {Spoiler}Ravishing One! Two very good choices. You continue to be a solid and worthy addition to this contest. Unfortunately, there is only one spot in our Top 4 left. The person who wins this distinction does so with a 1st impressions score of 13(4+1+2+4+2=13) and a 2nd chance score of 19 (4+2+4+4+5=19)Our last entrant into the Top 4 with a total of 32pts is: {Spoiler}The "comeback kid" of WC Idol, SsnakeBite, the No1 Frenchman! Good Bye Earl by the Dixie Chicks and Rock You Like A Hurricane by Scorpions turned out to be solid choices for you. Can you keep up this momentum and make an improbable run to the finals? Z-A Sandbaggin' Son of a b!% h, a tough round for you. "Here's to the Night" the lowest ranked song of either round, and one judge had a very violent reaction to Rock DJ.(5+3+5+1+4=18) You've been an awesome competitor, and I'm sorry to see you go. The next round should be up tomorrow. There will be 3 songs for this one from three different categories (2 chosen by me, one chosen by PKS). One category is something that has been attempted before on WC Idol, one is something that people have complained hasn't gotten enough respect on WC Idol, and the third is a tribute to one of the greatest musical variety shows in television history.

Gosh. That was a great game, Z-A. You just had a bad round, it seems. You've been pretty solid for sure.
On another note, I marked for Justice yet again! I agree with those two Justice songs being one of the shining moments on the competition so far. And I LOVED LOVED LOVED seeing Goodbye Earl on the list. Good risk! I honestly considered Dixie Chicks for my pick as an afterthought, but I didn't hesitate on Baba O'Riley, because I've wanted to submit that song forever ... even when I was a judge in the last game - haha. Good job to everyone really! This is getting really really competitive (in a good way).
