Season 2 starts tonight. We had a pretty active thread last season. So, I thought I'd start one for season 2.
They will post in this thread or they will be destroyed.

It's an April Fool's Joke. It'll just be Martin talking about the Jets and reading Wildcards in his living room.

Caught up on S1 a few weeks ago and finished the first book there on Friday.
So yeah, definitely looking forward to S2 now.

Purchased season 1 on Blu-ray a few days ago and just finished it last night. Not sure why I didn't watch it when it first aired but it was just outstanding. Season 2 starts over here tomorow so I am super pumped for it.

HBO is a free weekend this weekend (at least for Dish Network) They've also released HBO GO on the 360 a couple days ago. Most likely for this. I finished the first season On Demand about a couple weeks ago. A great show, and I'm thrilled to see what they have up their sleeve for this season.

I cannot wait.
The fact they have expanded some of the stories makes it even better, as even though as a fan of the books I know what is going to happen, this makes it worth watching

Decided not to after seeing how close the book and show was, as I thought reading the book would lessen the next 10 weeks of the show. Once S2 ends, I'll move on to Clash of Kings and then blast through the rest. Figure by the time S3 rolls by, I'd have forgotten some stuff and can enjoy the show relatively unencumbered.

I thought they did a brilliant job in the series with making Robb more engaging and I can't wait to see how they handle both of them.

Yeah, it was be interesting to see how they handle the whole three way scenerio with Renly and the Tyrell's, plus this season introduces my favourite faction/characters in Stannis and co.
Although I still cant over the fact that Melisandre isnt a black woman, I know she isnt in the books either, but in my head she was always a black woman

Pretty much how she would look, dressed like Grace Jones in A View to a Kill, the Bond movie.
Just always how I imagined her. Osha was black in my head as well.
Which reminds me, the name change for Asha Greyjoy is going to piss me off no end

15 minutes to go, and HBO 2 just showed Syrio's final moments. Still love that line "What do we say to the god of death? Not today".
