Has there ever been a more half-assed effort to get a catchphrase over than Shelton's "Ain't no stoppin' me now"? Discuss.

I don't know if Andrew Martin's "Testicle" thing was a catchphrase per say..but it was awful.

I always thought Bob Holly's "How do you like me now" seemed contrived, and completely manufactured. A catch phrase is supposed to naturally occur... you can usually tell when a catch phrase is put together by the writers in an attempt to sell T-Shirts.

Big Show's thing, "That's the last word" or something.

Not WWE, but this one was hilarious.

I'd just like to add that I'm strongly against having wrestlers saying their catchphrases ( or anything for that matter) at the beginning of their theme songs.
I hate it.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]WHAT!?[/shadow][/glow] What actually got over, though. to me it was "CLB" or Creepy Little Bastard for Christian. They tried for months to get that over, but to no avail.

I remember after Edge turned face in 2001, he tried getting "reeks of awesomeness" over in the lines of "and that's the bottom line..." and the crowd completely no sold it. He says it nice and slow for them to chime in and they just wouldn't bite. It was pretty embarassing. Thank goodness he got over despite it.

- "Prove Me Wrong" - "Don't Hunt What You Can't Kill" - "How Do You Like Me Now?" (which I still don't understand). - "Creepy Little Bastard"

4 Real probably wins.
One worth mentioning though is "Because anything else would be too civilized", as far as WCW goes. Man, did they have tons of those.
