It was not exactly clumsy, but when Jeff first said Slapnuts it was okay. Then the next Nitro he and the rest of WCW said it 1,003 times or more moves then Dean Malenko knows.

"Don't hate the playa, hate the game!" That's my No. 2 choice. My No. 1 is ... "THAT"S NOT JUST THE COOLEST ... THAT'S NOT JUST THE BEST ... THAT'S JUSTIN CREDIBLE."Just weak all the way around. I still don't understand how that guy eventually came to be accepted in ECW. Oh, we have a winner. God...damn that was an awful catchphrase.

Um, "The People's Strudel"?
The Rock is a very charismatic guy. But not even he could keep the audience from being painfully aware that he was basing this whole new schtick on adjusting his testicles and talking about his penis.
The saddest part? He actually DEBUTED this catchphrase. On the Conan O'Brien Show. It was clearly supposed to make him some sort of crossover smash hit celebrity. The awkward silence was haunting.

I only vaguely remember the "How's your lips" thing. How did the rest of it go?
And I'll always mark for Lance Storm being serious for a minute.
But not being boring.
Or doing the cabbage patch.

I think the "How's your lips?" thing ended with "How about I smack 'em off your face?" or something. Regardless of what it was, it was a lousy catchphrase that was made to sell T-shirts that nobody bought.

Well not a catchphrase, but Gregory Helms *music starts* (Gregory Helms) I <3 his theme solely because he says his name for no real reason.

I'm remembering a very painful attempt at creating a catchphrase for DDP in the last years of WCW. Something about him saying "(Insert wrestler's name here) likes to spank it, whack it, and JACK it!" "DDP came out wearing an expensive shirt and doing gestures exactly like The Rock, talking about Flair liking to spank it, whack it and jack it" - The Wrestling Observer Newsletter: September 1, 1999.

I think the attempt to get Lance STorm's "BO-RING" chant over was pretty half assed

I think someone once mentioned something about Bob Holly going by "The Big Shot". Was that any good?

"Shawn Michaels has left the building!" "WHO CARES!?" /quote] Except A) that wasn't catchprase, and B) it was freakin' awesome. and was meant to be annoying. And, more importantly, it gives me an excuse to do this: "I'm getting word...Shawn Michaels has left the building." "WHO CARES?" "Shawn Michaels has left the building." " WILL YOU STOP?!"
