Who threw the best punches in all the business?
Either a current wrestler or past wrestler.
My vote goes to Scott Hall. Those were the only punches that actually look like they hurt and weren't just grazing the guy.

If you want to talk about punches that hurt, the answer is the guy who actually punched people - Stan Hansen.

Wow, as soon as I read the title, I first thought of Hall. Bret Hart was also a great puncher with a good follow through. Also delivered a very nice European uppercut. I guess Vince McMahon can vouch for Bret being a great puncher. Zoink!

European upper cut - Double C Claudio Castignolia (sp?)
Punch - Necro Butcher. Watch him and anyone do the sit down trade blows and you will understand. When he did this with Lufisto at the deathmatch tourney in Canada last year I thought he broke her jaw he hit her so hard.

This discussion should begin and end with Terry Funk. There was a dude that would just f*** people up.

Claudio's got a great uppercut. And I'll agree with Necro as well. He got into a fistfight with someone at a JAPW show and I was amazed at how ridiculous it was.
I'm also a fan of Nigel's uppercuts, for that matter.
And hell, add me to Scott Hall's appreciation list.
I'm still sticking with Hansen for my #1 guy when it comes to clubberin'.

I say Vader, with honorable mentions going to Jake Roberts, Terry Funk, and CW Anderson

Terry Funk or Stan Hansen those guys had punches that really hurt, and looked brutal. Ask Foley about Funk's punches, and ask Vader about Hansen's punches. I'm sure they can tell you how brutal the punches were.

I'd say Terry Funk, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, HBK, Jerry Lawler, Scott Hall, and william Regal throw good punches.
To throw a good punch means it has to look like it hurts without it actually hurting.
Necro Butcher's punches are sloppy.

Bret Hart. Brian Blair also threw pretty good punches.

In Pro Wrestling, the best punch is the one that looks devistating, but dosen't hurt. Anyone can throw a legit hard punch to the face in a scripted environment where the guy is letting himself get hit. So stiff punches are concidered bad, not good, their just more fun to watch.
I say Undertaker.

Hogan's punches are amazing. He knows that if he made contact he'd just knock them out, so he lets the wind from his hand hit his opponent.

Already said (and I agree): Stan Hansen and Big Van Vader
Not already said (and you agree, you just don't know it yet): "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and Michael P.S. Hayes' left hand.
