Welcome back everyone I hope you had a Happy New Year! We are currently at the tailend of round 4 and with all these heroes and villains formulating brilliant last minute plans and remaking reality no one is safe (Hey is that Harry Osborn?)
Rules
Last time Sinestro knocked out Two-Face. So who's up next in Round Four?
--------------------------
A couple of popular if badly dressed Spider-Man Villains ...
Shocker - Marvel: Herman Schultz was born in New York City. He was a high school dropout who had brilliant talents as both an inventor thus he became a successful burglar and self-proclaimed 'world's best safe-cracker'. After finally being caught and incarcerated for his crimes, he developed a pair of gauntlets designed to shoot air blasts, vibrating at high frequency. While most Spider-Man villains usually shift from their original goals to a vendetta against Spider-Man, the Shocker is still concerned largely with making a living and protecting his reputation. As such, the character is usually portrayed as behaving in a more professional manner than the majority of his maniacal peers.
(Defeated The Question, Cheetah and the Lizard )
vs
Mysterio - Marvel: The Master of Illusion, Mysterio a foe of Spider-Man. Although the main man to wear the costume is Quentin Beck he has had two other incarnations (Daniel Beckhart and Francis Klum) . All three use similar costumes and weaponry that include a fishbowl helmet (with 30 minute air supply), holographic projector, and gloves and boots armed with nozzles which emit hallucinogenic gas. He developed a gas that can cancel Spider-Man's spider-sense, and when he is cloaked in his mist gases, he uses sonar to detect objects and beings nearby. Only Francis Klum had an actual superpower (he could teleport). Quentin Beck ended up commiting suicide after failing to drive Daredevil insane, but has recently returned from the dead, with a large chunk of his skull missing. (Although he stated cryptically "While I was done with life, it appears life was not yet done with me")
(Defeated Victor Zsasz, Gladiator and The Red Tornado)
It's a Goldfish Bowl vs a Quilt!! lol. Mysterio has my vote.
Rules
- First to 5 votes wins. (After 3 rounds it will progress to 5 votes for the next two rounds, at the quaters it will be 6, the semi's 7 and the final will get a couple of days.)
- 256 characters will enter ... they will be spread roughly between hero and villains ... with a few Vigilante/anti-hero's thrown in.
- The main selection will be from DC & Marvel ... however a few from other independant comics have been included.
- In case of characters who have had multiple people in there roles, use the general basis of that character. (e.g. Green Lantern, Flash, Baron Zemo etc)
- I will try to update this as swiftly as possible.
- I will be voting as well.
- The matches are determined at random.
- IMPORTANT! - Vote on who you like the most, not on who would win in a fight.
