While it doesn't particularly get me emotional, I have to say that "Bother" by Stone Sour is the single most depressing song in the history of ever.

Back in the day, "Watching Me Slip" by Unloco was a pretty tough song for me. You just get the feeling that the dude was an inch away from slitting his wrists as soon as he stepped away from the mic.
Other than that.... I get a little choked up when I listen to "Meadows Of Heaven" by Nightwish
That and "f***in' An Animal" by GWAR.... but that's just due to the sheer beauty of that song.

It's embarassing to admit, but when I saw it in the theater, I was the one guy (at the time, I was the one kid) who when the bagpipes version came on during "Tommy Boy", and really can't listen to that one without getting "Verklempt" now.

"Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCeS-yorGtcI can't even listen to this. I have to shut it off 30 seconds into the song. I love the song. She has such a beautiful voice, and that's probably part of the reason it makes me so emotional. Also, "More Than Words" by Extreme. It's basically what went wrong with my last long term relationship. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kt7L4X4li_k

Pretty Much The Entire Second Half Of "Machina" by The Smashing Pumpkins (and I'm not even 100% on what they're about, just the fact that this was their last commercially released record for a while and the way those songs are played/sung gets to me) That's funny, because, for me, the first half gets me bad, reminds me of one of the most... content moments I've ever had, kickin-it with the ex downtown one morning on one of those grey, cold days, walking around in the cold like that Bob Dylan album cover, only she was white, and I look more like Wolverine than Bob Dylan.

Times like these (accoustic) by Foo Fighters, the bootleg version not the "Skin and Bones" version. It was my grad song, me and my friend picked it. Reminds me of the good old days, I always tear up. Quote for the mother-smurfin WIN

I'm a wuss for admitting this, but "Here I Am" and "All Out Of Love" by Air Supply, which were two of my maternal grandmother's favorite songs, that she played all the time when I was little. I was actually listening to the 45 record with both songs on it (yes, I'm old) when they told me she'd died.
To this day, I can not get through either song without crying like a baby.

Well, emotional can mean anything.....there's one song that pisses me off and makes me want to crush kittens any time I hear it, for instance. As for the "choked up" type of emotion...hmm....can't think of any at the moment.

Whatever that song Chris Cornell did for the Great Expectations movie. I remember breaking down and crying when I heard it in the car the I found out the gal I had a crush on was going to the formal dance with someone else. (Keep in mind, this is in junior high.)
(This also the stage for my legendary shot-down-5-times-in-7-hours day.)
