Because, actually, when the Eagles actually draft in the first round they've been successful a year or two later. The only two busts were Mitchell and McDougle (who got shot more than just a bust). Lito, Andrews, Simon, Bunkley, McNabb were all successful 1st round picks. For whatever reason now the Eagles don't feel like they need to draft there. And if DeSean doesn't play this year I'm losing it. Law will play some in rotation at DT, but he won't start. I've never figured it out...your team has the possibility to be great with just a few moves, but nothing ever pans out.. It's because the FO are arrogant f***tards that think they're the "Gold Standard" of the NFL. But that "Gold Standard" has 0 rings. Go figure.

Backlund, who in the giants receiving corps get cut now? Burress, Toomer, Smith, Moss, Tyree, Hixon, Jennings, Manningham are the receivers with a chance to make the actual roster. Burress, Toomer and Smith are set in stone. Sinorice seems to be a possible choice, but I think they see he has something to provide the team, just hasn't translated it yet. Plus, you cut him and he's an all-star on another team. Tyree's an institution now and probably's not going to leave the team. Hixon is too valuable in the special teams. Michael Jennings is probably gone, speed to kill but no durability. I think Amani's done after this season, so they're probably going to keep a few more receivers than expected and justify it with special teams contribution so as not to lose someone they like.

After this draft, I seriously hope the Eagles don't trade Lito. We need all the depth we can get at CB with the WR's we'll see from the NFC East.

Overall I'm not too happy with our draft but I'm not TOTALLY crushed either. We did nothing to improve our pass-protection but odds are we'll continue the good running game, even more so with Run DMC.
Trevor Scott was a back-up TE for his first two college years but seemed tof ind a home at DE. I'm excited about Chaz Schilens in the 7th, the reason being he's from right here in SDSU and I've seen him play on the SD Sports channel a few times and he looks pretty damn good. Hopefully he makes the team and can contribute something.
Don't believe in giving draft grades until at least we see the guys play/make the team, but I'd probably give us a D.

Are they finally admitting that Bush is a bust? Cory Boyd gets drafted....to the Bucs...he might actually play Does a bust average around 550 yards a season, 5 TDs with a 3.7 YPA? Yes? Ok, well does a bust have a romantic link to Kim Kardashian? Yes? Alright, maybe it is time.....

I'm confused, are you agreeing or disagreeing? Sorry, I'm mocking ESPN and their hype of a guy who has pretty sparse stats and really flopped when he was asked to be the go-to guy in NO. But, at least they get to talk about C-List Celebrities when discussing him. In summary, I agree Bush is a bust (or at least a flop up to this point in his career).

I'm confused, are you agreeing or disagreeing? I think agreeing. My favorite Bush joke was from DJ Gallo's article on anticipated games. It was something like "OK British fans, no matter what you see on the field, Reggie Bush really is a big football star. No really, take our word for it. He's a great player."

And no one brought it up, but the Bengals drafted Corey Lynch. For those who don't remember him, 4:09I feel so good for Corey. Great guy, should be a breath of fresh air in the Bengals locker room. And Dexter Jackson going in the second round is a big shock. He's fast and good, but usually our players are slighted in the NFL Draft.

Anybody else think that darren mcfadden will be a bust?
What's the big deal with flacco anyway, he's the player love child of kerry collins and kyle boller. He's going to be a huge bust. They should've trade down a little more and gotten the ready to play brian brohm.
If they start flacco opening day, they are in for a world of pain. He is far from ready. They are repeating what they did to boller.
