I can't believe that people actually think the Eagles had a good draft! We still need a true second DE rather than just rotational guys. We still need a SS and a FS to replace Dawkins, we still need big WR threat (Jackson only adds to the smallness of the WR), we had plenty of ammo to move up to take an OT and we didn't, and instead of moving up with our 11 picks, we moved DOWN TO GET EVEN MORE! Besides DeSean and Law in rotation, no one is playing this year and I doubt that any others will even be on the team in 3 years. But with two first rounders next year we may be able to draft about 6-7 second rounders if we play our cards right. It's hard to assess the Philly Draft. On one hand, the talent brought onto the roster would be a middle-of-the-road type grade. I do really like the selection of Laws, as I think he'll be a keeper and produce in the future. Jackson will provide some big play potential, but, as you mentioned, he doesn't solve Philly's issues at receiver. That said, however, the Panthers gave up just an incredible ammount of value in what appears to be a strong draft to the Eagles in a very weak draft. If the Eagles FO get over themselves and use those picks and are decisive and go after the best talent for their team, they'll be golden next year (big "if", though). Also, with more info spilling out about MB3, I dislike the Felix Jones pick more. Honestly, neither MB3 nor Jones are an everydown back that can be featured in an offense. The compliment thing is fine and dandy, but Mendenhall may very well have been the most talented back in the draft (complete back). Jones strikes me as a Trung Candidate-esque player and, while I may be wrong, this is very reminiscent of Jerry Jones skipping over Stephen Jackson to make that trade with Buffalo and ending up with Julius Jones instead.

I still don't think the Panthers gave up that much really.
We gave them our 2nd round pick which doesn't matter because we ended up getting a second 1st round pick then. That is a wash.
We gave them a 4th round pick, but that doesn't matter because we had an extra 3rd round pick thanks to the Jenkins trade earlier this year. That is a wash.
The only thing we REALLY lost was next years number one, and Fox intends for that to be a end-of-the-round pick anyways. He was drafting guys to help us now. Not years from now, hence one reason why they didn't worry about a QB. Fox may feel his job is on the line.

I'd just like to point out the Chiefs owned the draft...I was pleased then they took DaJuan Morgan who was one of my favorite guys.
Also for the guy in the first thread who liked Jonal Saint-Dic, he signed with the Chiefs after the draft.

Also, I have a very good feeling if that 1st rounder we traded away turns out to be a top 10 pick, John Fox will be looking for new employment opportunities.

I'd be really worried about that trade, the Eagles wanted to move up for Albert then he got picked and they had Otah and moved out like "this guy sucks"

And if he thought Otah was worth it, he would have stayed. I actually hope that with one of the 1st rounders to get a WR, if it's possible. Too bad my one hope that the WR rumors would die down won't come true. It will continue up until the trade deadline.
