If I didn't have meat, I don't know what I'd do. Live mainly on potatoes, probably. Thank Odin I don't have to do that.
All the more power to those who can though.

I could probably go without red meat..also, I do not eat seafood.
However..I very much doubt I could go very long without Chicken or Turkey..

I usually cut back on most kind of food because I run a lot. I usually eat a lot of pasta, so not eating meat won't kill me.

I am Wrestlecrap's resident vegetarian (along with Dude!) and I have been a vegetarian for 3 years now. I am working my way towards vegan. The reasons to stop eating animal flesh are so many I could type forever. Just to your homework though.
Eat a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, seeds whole grains and beans. Learn how to cook and learn how to do it right. If you are a fly by night vegetarian who eats french fries, cakes, cookies etc then prepared to get sick and weak.
Make sure you take a multi-vitamin. That's not so much vegetarian related as it is just essential for good health. Start stocking your house with tofu, tempeh, couscous, canned beans (rinse them in a collander before using to eliminate some of the salt), peanut butter, whole grain breads and cereals, pastas and dried herbs.

Just remember kids, you can't spell 'slaughter' without 'laughter.'

Just remember kids, you can't spell 'slaughter' without 'laughter.' Remember, you can't spell "Mass epidemic of obesity" with out the letters M, E, A, and T.

But what about the Vegan Enterprise for Alternative Lifestyles? There's no M in there. No, but there is a VEAL. Also, I would like to comment on the previous statement that basically equivlated eating meat = obese, not eating meat = not. That's such an uninformed idea it's crazy. To make quick points to get in and out of this thread, it's not eating meat or not, it's how much you eat and how it's cooked. I have a vegatarian friend that was 300lbs because he ate so much fried stuff and other bad for you stuff. Also, people were eating meat SOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOONG before the "obesity epedemic".

No, but there is a VEAL. I only see VAL, which means vegans love Val Kilmer. He was the Goddamn Batman!
