Could we see the return of Psycho Mickie?

I see potential in this current Mickie James/Beth Phoenix storyline. Each week, as the losses pile up against her Glamazonian foe, she becomes more and more unstable both in the ring and backstage interacting with the other divas. Finally, she just snaps after another loss and beats the holy hell out of Beth with a chair, screaming all the while. It takes a ton of officials to pull her off of Beth, while she's screaming and laughing all the while.

I'm not talking about her being the pyscho lesbian like she was against Trish Stratus, but rather a cunning and ruthless one. Do you think it would work?

She's over for life. At this point they could prove her responsible for WWII and everyone'd STILL love her. How do people not seem to get this? Seriously?

If she goes heel they're going to turn Melina or Jillian face for certain, face Beth just isn't going to work. Not that heel Beth works either, but hey, whaddya do huh? What's more likely is that Candice is going to return and get the title back from Beth, but that means that Melina or Jillian will get the belt afterwards.

And if somehow we get Melina vs Mickie at Backlash 08, I'll mark like crazy. But it would probably be more around Judgement Day or ONS that things'd allow 'em to get a match. Eh, it'd be worth the wait.

Psycho Mickie could be a babyface. Just look at Sid...he's done that for years and got away with it. The problem with seriously trying to turn Mickie heel is...most of the divas just aren't really likable enough to get cheers against her.

Only one who stands half a chance is Melina...that is if she turned. Chicks like Ashley, Beth, and Candice as faces wouldn't stand a chance in getting cheered.

Psycho Mickie would be loved and cherished like any other incarnation.

Maybe WWE will shock us by finally remembering that Mickie did something to Beth pre-WWE, and when Mickie goes mental, it triggers Beth off, and she'll spill.

But on ECW Tazz said something Anti-WWE. Meaning something smart and that made sense.


Victoria vs Beth would be a very interesting match. Announcers usually don't bring up matches that they know won't happen. I know both are heels but Victoria vs Beth could be a hell of a match.

By that comment alone, Tazz maybe the smartest guy in the WWE.

I don't get the argument that she can't turn heel because nobody would boo her.

I don't really think she's on different level of crowd reaction in relation to the rest of the divas. It's not like she's a unbooable Steve Austin perma-face or anything.

Eddie Guerrero found it really difficult to turn heel for a while, until they had him turn on Rey - and it worked, because he was against a guy you could cheer for against him. There's no Diva like Rey who could make people boo a "Mickie Guerrero".

Very rarely WWE will acknowledge continuity like this. I hope this is one of those times.

Exactly. Right now, Mickie is the #1 quintessential female face in WWE. And don't say Candice, because we all know that's wrong; for the longest time no one gave a damn about Candice, and a lot of people still don't. Meanwhile, as soon as Mickie showed up on WWE television, you couldn't NOT have an opinion of her, positive or negative.

If you want any evidence of the fans' respect for her, look at WrestleMania 22, where she was cheered throughout the match even though she was playing heel, and even though she was pushed as a heel for several months afterward against Trish (she was still being cheered, by the way).
