I LOVE WAFFLES! I'm in!
God, I love Colt. Speaking of Youtube OVW stuff, can anyone find the HILARIOUS Dean Visk skits where he's cutting psuedo-Warrior style promos?

Honestly, I feel this can be a good thing in the long run for OVW, for a few reasons. When OVW talent would be released, usually they didn't do much in OVW after that. Some did, like the Heart Throbs, The Tolands, etc. Hell, Eugene is the trainer for the beginner classes. So what I'm thinking is Davis could bring back in some talent like Tank Toland, Eugene, The Bashams, Rob Conway, Cryme Tyme (JTG has been wrestling for DCW), Aaron Stevens and others. Plus, ROH has had a few OVW talents on its shows recently (Seth Skyfire and Serena Deeb), so maybe there could be some talent exchanges (Joey Matthews and Tank Toland were pretty big names in OVW for awhile). In my opinion, I feel this could be a new chapter for OVW, because a lot of released talent that were OVW stars can now come back without Danny Davis getting crap from management for booking former talent. I do remember when the Heart Throbs were let go, Danny continued using them on his television. So maybe this could be a new start for OVW. One can only hope so. Danny probably has a better mind for business than the guy who was running DSW. And let me add one of my all-time favorites...The Spirit Squad try to recruit Punk. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub_zMpLPRfkI was trying to find that one to add to my list, but couldn't find it. Good job

i'm still laughing at it. i'm at school, and looking like such a tool, thanks to spike. That's what the Spike does best. Make people look like tools. But we love himm, though. If it's any consolation at all, I laughed out loud at it at work as well, whilst I was in the middle of a conversation with my line manager.

This hasn't been reported on WWE.com yet, but Meltzer is reporting that longtime trainer Al Snow has been released. Aw damn, I guess DX will have to buy a new crate for jobbers now. Wait. OHIO Valley Wrestling is in KENTUCKY? Yes. The Ohio River and it's valley borders Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Louisville is one of the larger cities along the river.

The Kennedy/Capotelli vid is one of those rare things that if you didn't mark out for how ridiculous it was, you'd think it was total crap. I mean, who drives around in their jeep with a folding chair in the back? And having Kennedy come back to deliver the payoff "Kennedy!" was just hilarious. That, and the John Cena shirt he was wearing.
I'm sure OVW will stick around. They brought a lot of people into prominence before they were they official developmental fed, and I think they'll continue to do well. They'll just have to replace everyone in the main event scene. Plus, they may keep the recent WWE releases around, too. Johnny Punch can still job to everyone, Anthony Bravado can still make you wonder who laces up his boots, because he damn sure can't reach them, Ox and Hammer can start a new fued, lots of possibilities here.

Sir, I'll have you know my car is equipped with at least TWO steel chairs at all times, and I keep at least one cookie sheet constantly on my person. You never know when a wrestling match is gonna break out.

Between the non contract guys and the Derby City guys, they have plenty of people to fill out a roster with.
I'm just wondering if the title holders will job their titles or they'll just vacat them all and essentuiially start over

It's always a shame when a developmental territory gets cut loose, and hopefully OVW can recover from it and do well, but I don't think it will affect terribly much in terms of the large picture. It looks like most of the people are just going to be packing their bags for the much warmer Florida. Lucky bastards.

Not for the sake of his boys.

What are the chances there will be a big PPV-esque card to end the affiliation?
